Toyota deputy MD Swapnesh R. Maru said Toyota had already taken possession of 800+ acres, finished fencing and started land levelling. Crucially, he said a majority of Toyota's parts suppliers had also received access to their land.

He put another 400-500 acres aside for parts suppliers and estimated their investment at ₹4,000-5,000 crore over and above Toyota's ₹20,000 crore.

With fencing complete and levelling work on, plant work to commence by early 2026 after Toyota HQ finalises products, power train for the plant.
