Every country borrows and takes out loans. That is how the world's economy works. It is called using leverage. Case in point, US borrows between $1.7T to $2.0T just to be able to balance their budget. India borrows close to $190B annually to manage its financing. This is called creating fiscal space. Pretty much every single country is involved in this. Our people are fixated on loans as being bad. It is part of life. For as long as a country is around, it will keep on borrowing instead of wanting to part with its own forex reserves (because all transactions are in dollars). Its a big cycle. We borrow and pay interest, but then we also float/offer bonds so we can make interest on those from others.we are getting loans upon loans. No big company is investing in Pakistan. In opposite, we are investing in Trump's relative company. Excluding India, we have 48% poor people who earn less than 3$ per day till Morocco.
The number of expacts has doubled last year.

I distinctly remember people saying the burning and destruction of government and private property, as was being seen in the SL economic meltdown, was going to be seen in Pakistan. Thankfully, that too was managed by Pakistan. Not going into Pakistan's politics too much: We would be even worse than now if there were no major and painful corrective measures taken starting spring of 2022. Pakistan was expected to be fiscally 'bankrupt' in 2022 like Sri Lanka was shortly before 2022. But of course much needs to be done but at least stability is gained and if/when the war on Iran ends then I see Pakistan's star going to rise a lot.
BTW, except for maybe some Scandinavian countries, I see major breast breatings all around the world. At one point, I saw 1/4th of Irish wanted to leave Ireland! And I know some of my American friends have been contemplating an exit from here as their retirement approaches.
And yet...
Pakistan carries on despite the local terrorism abetted by India
Security alignment and greater defense interactions with countless countries in the ME
No reduction in Indian military deployment in IIOK (near 700,000) because the threat of the Kashmir freedom movement/insurgency remains
Much better economic fundamentals than before, better alignment with multiple power centers including China, US and the EU.
Unconventional wisdom, Pakistan is accustomed to instability..nothing stops..life goes on multiple other fronts with resilience.
What needs to be improved has to be improved. Nobody here is suggesting all is great. However, incrementally things are improving in certain spheres and also regressing in others. This too is part of life. Not everything will be well overnight.
ok ok you're SUPERPOWER oh sorry, HYPERPOWER IN ENTIRE UNIVERSE, NOW HAPPY, NOW SHOO GO BACK TO YOUR SH!THOLE COUNTRYAnd yet...
Pakistanis will go to lengths to compare them to India (like your post above, bringing Pakistan where no comparison was required)
FWIW, Pakistan doing well economically will be good news to India. Unfortunately, all things you pointed are on more transfer of power to "army". Eg, look at how Faujis are now taking govt/civilian postions (both sitting and retired). On economy, Pakistan might be doing well but its debatable - still lots of debt, IMF bailouts etc.
Pakistanis can toot their horn of Endia - India only improves. And I am happy to have an objective, data backed debate on any one of the forum if we want to compare both countries. If such discussion is mandated.
