India is incomplete without Pakistan: Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajapayee

If I were you, I'd stop calling others idiots while spitting out incorrect facts. I'm not defending the Indian Pygmies. You lose your arguments when you refer to people as stupid and or idiot while giving out incorrect point. Its not UN Resolution 80.

UN Security Council Resolution 47 (1948) – Kashmir

  • Adopted: 21 April 1948
  • Context: First Indo-Pakistani War over Jammu & Kashmir
  • Body: UN Security Council

What it called for

  1. Ceasefire between India and Pakistan
  2. Withdrawal of forces:
    • Pakistan to withdraw tribesmen and nationals first
    • India to then reduce forces to the minimum needed for law and order
  3. Plebiscite:
    • A UN-supervised plebiscite to allow the people of Jammu & Kashmir to decide whether to join India or Pakistan

Why it’s important

  • It’s the core UN resolution cited in Kashmir debates
  • Established the principle of self-determination for Kashmiris
  • The plebiscite was never carried out, largely due to disputes over demilitarization sequencing
  • Forms the legal backbone of Pakistan’s UN position; India later argued circumstances changed (especially after the 1972 Simla Agreement)

Related Kashmir UN resolutions

  • Resolution 38 (1948) – called for ceasefire and restraint
  • Resolution 39 (1948) – created the UN Commission for India and Pakistan (UNCIP)
  • Resolution 47 (1948) – detailed framework (the key one)
  • Later GA resolutions reaffirmed UN involvement but had non-binding force
No! You are wrong. United Nations Resolutions 80 on Kashmir, supercedes the resolution 47.

Do you even know what you are talking about. Even go to Chatgpt and write down UN resolution 80 on Kashmir.

And I am not the only one who mentioned UN resolution 80, there was another Pakistani member who mentioned UN resolution 80 on Kashmir.

United Nations Resolutions 80 (1950) on the Kashmir dispute supercedes UN resolution 47.

Have you read all the resolutions?

UN resolution 80 (1950) on the Kashmir dispute says both Pakistan and India need to withdraw their military equally for a plebiscite to happen in Kashmir, it is just not Pakistan that needs to withdraw as these Indians keep barking about.

Go to chatgpt to see for yourself or google it

If I could I would make a thread on United Nations Resolutions 80 (1950) on Kashmir against the United Nations Resolution 47 that Indians keep barking about, "that Pakistan needs to withdraw forces first." When that is not true.

But my thread making rights have been revoked.
@Baibers_1260 Need your help here.

Sir, this is NOT the text of the actual resolution but an AI summarisation, which is dependent itself on various Internet sources. Phraseology is modified from the original resolution in a creative manner. For example, nowhere is it stated in the original text that Pakistan must do anything "first".

I am happy to discuss further in an appropriate thread, not this one.

AI summaries online are themselves "trained" and it is inevitable that with sheer volume of Bharatis online, adding their own opinions and articles, that this training will result in an erroneous manifestation of original text. Please exercise extra caution.

Do we need a thread? The UN digital library has a free download of Resolution 80 as a pdf file.
You can download the file from here :

Download the pdf file. Convert to MS Word and copy and paste the text here for everyone to read. OR you can take pdf snap shots of the relevant sections and paste it in your messages.
ChatGPT is a misleading tool. I prefer the old fashioned way.

Seriously—what's being discussed is not even close to the topic. This thread is all about generic discussions from here to there.

@Musings

Please look into it if we can close the thread. Thank you

Thank you for your assist.

UN resolution 80 still holds true. You can google this. You don't necessarily have to go to the UN library

Correct. But the solution is not to lock the thread but block those derailing the topic and remove their posts. This thread is about India and its leadership's desire to reunite or reintegrate Pakistan.
BTW the thread is in the "Photos and Multimedia " section so why is anyone uncomfortable with it,
Why are YOU uncomfortable with it. ?
@Musings.

First - title is itself wrong!

“India is incomplete without ”Pakistan”—is commonly attributed to Atal Bihari Vajpayee. incomplete” meant emotionally and historically fractured, not geographically unfinished.

Vajpayee’s message was essentially:
“The subcontinent will not truly heal until India and Pakistan learn to coexist peacefully — without hatred, without violence.”

Anyway, the thread is started with its own false assumptions.

Today, information is widely available, yet many people believe propaganda without checking the evidence; however, most educated people verified it. With so much open information, even simple verification is enough to uncover the facts.

I do not think Chatgpt is a misleading tool. Most of the time it is right.

I still stand with UN resolution 80 (1950) on Kashmir.

By the way I am not the only one who mentioned this on this thread. There was somebody else.

The title is a public statement by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and I copied the link reference in OP.

And you claimed the poem was written by Randhari Dinkar Rajkavi 😂😂.
Of course, but since you probably never studied Hindi you wouldn't know.

Here is another poem written by ABV after India's nuclear tests.
