Roads, railways, airports, ports, and every other form of transportation infrastructure in India need to be at par with, or even better than, China’s if India is to compete with China and eventually surpass it in terms of nominal GDP.

The present Modi government is working towards this at an unprecedented scale. India’s total road network is already larger than China’s and continues to expand, with road quality also being world class.

The railways are being modernised, with 100% electrification achieved and dedicated freight corridors being developed to accommodate freight trains operating at speeds of 110 km/h. New airports are being built in small towns, while additional airports are being developed in major metropolitan areas.

India’s GDP growth rate is currently double of China’s, and if this growth momentum continues, the economic gap between the two countries will look considerably smaller in the next 10 years, narrower in 15 years, and potentially bring their economies closer to parity in nominal GDP terms within the next 20 years.

India is not even in the same league. Infrastructure wise, quality of life, dependence on technology / hardware, i mean there's nothing where india can compete with Super powers in foreseeable future. Except population.

First india needs to lift masses out of poverty. That's a first milestone if it wants to be even looked as in the same league.

A flying-testbed run isn’t the same as merely claiming, “We can make a turbofan.” It is demonstrating and validating an engine under realistic flight conditions.

The Kaveri dry engine is now certified to power the Ghatak UCAV, a 15-tonne stealth bomber, and the aircraft is designed around a single-engine configuration. That itself demonstrates the level of confidence DRDO has placed in the engine. Powering a 15-tonne, highly sophisticated stealth platform with a single engine is a significant responsibility, and it shows that the Kaveri Dry Engine is as reliable and powerful as American GE Dry Engine

Usa has decided india needs to stay poor and remain poor forever. They said that to a large gathering of Indians including modi in the room.

Usa makes sure india will never lead in any technological sector the way china has been dominating renewable energy, open AI, electric vehicles and soon semiconductors. America has chalked india as a poor consumer who will give usa all their data thru Gmail, Google, YouTube, Facebook, Amazon etc while hosting the data centres that the west population refuse to build at home as it smashes the electricity and water prices wherever its built.

Usa has already determined India's future and modi has accepted it and everyone saw landale tell indians including modi that plan.

Any Indian who wants to develop would be wishing for a multipolar world where usa does not dictate all of India's data, money thru swift and even tells india where to buy oil while keeping india poor and out of the fight.
