But bro this happens everywhere.... in all countries.... Nothing new.... But look at the population and compare it to the things like rapes happen in country its very very low....

Third world problems, abandoning human development for big chunks of population, huge cultural shifts, disparity between modernism and traditionalism

This affects all of south Asia and manifests in stories like this


Another south Asian-ism is a race to the bottom on any topic you can have schadenfreude or one-upmanship

Talked briefly to a woman who traveled alone. I said 'isn't it dangerous?'.
She replied 'Not at all.'

I then said 'How about your India trip?'. Her demeanor changed, ' Well, that was different...'.

Man getting an India tourist visa is not easy now. People get discouraged to even apply no matter which passport yous got. Hopefully the relations improve between the two countries.
