Bro. I think the real problem is not the scarcity of water resources.
With India's current infrastructure capabilities, he cannot completely cut off the water resources of the river.
However, I think he may take a more despicable means to force Pakistan to attack India first.
“Pulse water release.”
I don't know if you understand what I mean?
This will be a cyclical disaster for Pakistan. If Pakistan does not take corresponding measures and is forced to take the initiative to attack India, it will put Pakistan in a passive position in international public opinion.
Pakistan needs to consider this issue in advance.
Not necessarily oil producing country if you reread my post India could indirectly import from third country and there are many countries which good relationship with India you can can check the map.Couple of things....there are no India friendly oil producers in her east....2, ..oil blockade and infrastructure destruction can be done simultaneously

The Pakistani government should organize a team of water conservancy experts as soon as possible to study the preparatory plan.Indians are also already in a position of refusing data about rivers to Pakistan as was the requirement for Indus Water Treaty and some Pakistani experts are saying that has immediate bearing on Pakistan.
Its a serious issue and this is a "Discussion" forum, its strange why someone on a discussion forum would query why people are disucssing a topic over x number of pages.

Also if you find the discussion not engaging I can thread ban you that way you don't have to worry if this thread has 300 pages or 1000?

Northern command is looking solid but the navy must be built up to have the capability to block Indian oil supply routes.
Right. And Indians have known for at least the 2-3 decades that the net loss to the Indian economy will be far larger than the losses to the Pakistani economy, which came close to 'default' barely 2-3 years ago. In a prolong war, in a war of attrition, the stronger economy suffers a lot worse. The ongoing Gaza/Yemen vs Israel conflict shows that and it took the immense American support to keep Israel afloat. We're nearly 20 years in to a war on terror that has taken more lives than all our conflicts with India combined, we have much less to lose than you do economically, and most importantly, our awam is not deluded; they know that war with India means means massive casualties, your people seem to think it'll be quick and painless to take on Pakistan, this stupidity I see from Indian nationalists and your media.
Thank you. Pakistan's problems are the stupid ethnic conflicts. Studies after studies have shown the Kalabagh Dam's benefits but some just don't want to pay attention. The Pakistani government should organize a team of water conservancy experts as soon as possible to study the preparatory plan.
In this regard, Pakistan can directly seek help from the Chinese government.
The Chinese Ministry of Water Resources can organize a team of experts to help Pakistan solve this problem.
As for river data...if necessary, the data of the Chinese Ministry of Water Resources is more detailed and accurate than that of India...they have a lot of advanced monitoring methods.
I don't wish for war, far from.
Localised skirmish type bhi ho sakti hai, an air duel maybe, or something on the seas.
Not possible. We're your peers in terms of tech and capability, the more you'd like to escalate, the further up the ladder we'll follow. Eventually you'd need serious attrition to put a stop to our capacity, and soon thereafter comes the nuclear threshold.
I think your government has done itself a serious disservice with all the posturing and misleading the citizenry. Pre-2014 I heard lots of Modi related bravado from Indian nationalists, back when there was still a delusion abroad of Indian conventional superiority even in a limited conflict. All of that has come to nought in the last engagement.
But now that same government has built an image in all of your imaginations that Pakistan is not a peer adversary, and simply giving the order for your armed forces to let loose will flatten any capacity we have. This is beyond delusional, and believe me.... if I had to bet which nation actually has the stomach to fight, I'd bet on Pakistan.
