That ship had nothing to do with Israel. It was on its way to Singapore, from Port Said Egypt

Yes and then the UK and USA attacked Yemen, so Ansarallah announced British/American ships would be targets for self-defence as well.

They made good of that promise (this was a British owned ship). US Navy coalition promise to protect ships, on the other hand...

Absolutely Indians have no reason to die for someone else's stupid wars but India navy is not only for Indian crews or India bound ships.....

Any ship with any country crews including Pakistan nationals or Chinese any one who gives a distress signal and if our warships are nearby they will rush to protect.....

What I still don't understand is why not Egypt not doing naval patrols..... they have the most formidable navy in that region and Egypt itself is a dominating military power in Mediterranean as well as red sea......

After all its suez canal transit in trouble and that canal is one of the main source of revenue for Egypt..... but still instead of Egyptians other countries are taking initiatives..... Saudis too should do something they got the most formidable airforce in the region.....

How Indian navy will know everytime about which ship is having Indian crews..... red sea is one of the busiest sea and 1000s of ships pass no way you will know that everytime

Indians still claim their country is not US proxy.
In Past they were Russian proxy.

They troll Pakistan is US proxy.

If Indian warships were sent to deter pirates, why not they sent before? They sent when US, UK deployed.

Believe it or not, Your next war is for US with China and that will be WORLD WARS 3.

I would urge you to research a little bit about our foreign policy, we fight for no one but ourselves and have mutual benefit when we sail with the West.
Do not expect us to fight China just for the interests of the USA without any reason.

It is quite commendable that our ships are sailing in the Gulf responding to emergencies and supporting MV's.
We are expanding our area of responsibility whereas Pakistan is busy with petty politics.

But from military operation point of view I'm happy to see first time we have deployed warships so long from mainland and Indian islands.....

I don't want tensions to raise in this region but from military point of view it is giving our navy an experience to operate so long from mainland in the hostile region.... we have operated even longer than this say Africa or Madagascar but region is not this hostile like red sea..... we may even get a chance to see our Brahmos and Barak systems live performances.....
