In most developing or third world democratic nations, the attacks on minorities by governments failing to meet the needs of their support base is evident. The educated majority either calls out the government's bluff or else the nation is doomed to failure. I don't know much about India's constitution or its judiciary. Can only hope there are adequate checks and balances to protect its minorities
India's Constitution and judiciary ensure equal rights for all, allowing any citizen to become the Prime Minister or President. In contrast, many other countries do not provide such opportunities.
Anyway, I can’t help but laugh at some of the posts coming in and wonder—actually if i don't live here, must I think that people living in a place where minorities are deprived of food, water, and jobs, and forced to pay extra taxes for roads and hotels while working for lower wages.
Well, all I can say is that most of these posts seem to come from people who have never lived in India. Due to the partition, there seems to be a constant attempt to justify what happened based on religion in 1947.
People simply refuse to understand that India is a diverse country where people from different cultures, societies, and religions live together, with Hindus forming the majority.
Religion has become a tool for vote politics, and no political party is innocent in this regard. Both sides engage in various tactics to secure votes, leading to the rise of hate speeches and fear-mongering as part of their electoral strategies.
