Inspired by their neighbours, Bhartis too have started discovering trillion-dollar mineral reserves

Geologists confirmed significant gold reserves in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, spanning 100 hectares, including copper and other metals, potentially reshaping the region's economy

In a potentially game-changing discovery, geologists have confirmed the presence of significant gold reserves deep beneath the surface in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district. The findings come after years of exploration and sampling in the Mahangwa Kewalri region of Sihora tehsil, an area already known for its rich deposits of iron and manganese. According to preliminary survey data, the gold deposits are spread across an estimated 100 hectares, and experts believe the quantity could run into lakhs of tonnes. If fully confirmed, this would place Jabalpur among the most mineral-rich zones in India and could dramatically reshape the region’s economic future.

The breakthrough comes from an extensive geological survey conducted by a team from the Regional Office of the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources. The team carried out soil sampling across Mahangwa Kewalri and confirmed the presence of not just gold, but also copper and other valuable metals through chemical analysis. "The evidence is conclusive," said a senior official from the department, adding, "The chemical tests confirm substantial traces of gold, along with copper and other precious minerals. This could be one of the most important mineral discoveries in central India in recent years.

The excitement is not new to the region. Years ago, signs of gold had also emerged from neighbouring Katni district. While those early indicators lacked strong confirmation at the time, the current discovery in Jabalpur seems to support and strengthen earlier hypotheses. With gold now found in both Katni and Jabalpur, the region is attracting renewed interest from mining and geological experts.

Jabalpur, long associated with iron ore and mineral exports, could see its profile rise significantly. Already home to 42 operational mines extracting iron, manganese, laterite, limestone, and silica sand, the district has built a reputation for contributing to India’s mineral economy. Much of its iron is exported internationally, including to China. Now, with gold entering the picture, the region may see a new wave of industrial investment. "What makes this find even more viable," said a state official, “is that mining infrastructure is already in place. The area has been explored and worked on for years. Tapping into the newly confirmed gold reserves will require relatively lower investment than starting from scratch.

The next phase will involve deeper exploratory work to establish the full extent and viability of mining the gold deposits. If the reserves prove economically feasible, commercial extraction could begin in the near future, adding a new chapter to Madhya Pradesh’s mining legacy. Officials believe that with careful planning, this discovery could bring a significant boost to local employment, state revenue, and possibly even national gold reserves—marking a rare win for India’s mineral exploration efforts

good news
buys some more Rafales

But look who they got to get through first to get to us. Are you prepared?
Yes, these days there are highways which make things a bit easier.

It can be actively facilitated.

Be it India or Pakistan. ONLY The natives of the land should benefit from this wealth. Not some foreign company disguised as same old British India supported by local corrupt establishment looting our wealth.

Good luck given way the last deluge into the NWFP sponge given "durrand"....and long term issues from it. Afghans may head nod, issue is whether they mean it and actually follow the pie in the sky instructions push come to shove heh.

Fun to dream, but what will end up happening in reality is what has played out "across the durrand, ethnic kin sponge" last few decades.
relax, we are having fun... tum Indian serious buhat jaldi ho jate ho.

Yea I know. In this case a straight Road doesn't necessarily help, unless it's paved in gold

India has always been among the biggest producers and exporters of gold and precious jewels.

Not good enough, you need black gold to attract the attention of the USA. Oh btw when I said black gold I meant crude oil not coal in the coal mines 🤪
