Minister of Sports and Youth reviews the readiness of Rifda gymnasts for the Paris Olympics

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo reviewed the readiness of Indonesian artistic gymnast Rifda Irfanaluthfi for the 2024 Paris Olympics while undergoing a training session in Jakarta on Friday.
"This is in order to ensure the smooth preparation of the Indonesian contingent for the Paris Olympics," Dito told the media crew after meeting Rifda Irfanaluthfi and the coaching team at Elite Club Epicentrum, Kuningan, Jakarta.
During his visit, which was accompanied by the Chef de Mission (CdM) of the Indonesian contingent for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Anindya Novyan Bakrie, Dito also discussed with Rifda, the coaching team, and the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association (PB Persani) Ita Yuliati Irawan.
After the discussion, Dito said, currently Rifda's condition has improved due to a leg injury.
The physical training undergone today, he said, is also to ensure that Rifda's condition remains in prime condition until it is time to appear at the Paris Olympics.
Dito explained, Rifda will also undergo training in the Netherlands on June 15 so he hopes that the preparations made will be maximized.

"Hopefully this can carve out a new history later at the Paris Olympics and in the future can maintain the tradition of Indonesian gymnastics always qualifying for the Olympics," he said.
He added that gymnastics is one of the three main sports, so Indonesia must show the world community that Indonesia can excel and be committed to the development of artistic gymnastics.
Dito added, in order to welcome the Paris Olympics, his party and CdM will see firsthand the preparations of all athletes who have qualified for Paris.
He hopes that the Indonesian contingent will be able to achieve maximum achievements and make new history in the world's highest sports competition in Paris.
