Despite keeping everything under cover these days, the PAF has inadvertently revealed the upcoming multinational airexercise Indus Shield 2024. The revelation was made in the video covering the visit of Iranian Ambassador to the PAF HQ.

So far, I can confirm 3 countries that will be participating.
Apart from Turkey and Saudis, Egypt will also be participating with it's aerial assets.

Iran participating with Saudis would be very interesting!
It will NEVER happen unless they normalize ties.

Iran could be present as an observer.

@CombatCorner
Egypt !!! Seriously?

I can't recall them participating in any Excercise other than the ones with the US.

I think they occasionally participate in some Excercise with Saudi Arabia - similar to Shields of Victory.

I am skeptical on the Egypt info, not suggesting that it won't happen, but I do have doubts. But..., we did participate in an Excercise in Bright Star '23.

I'm sure Turkey will be there with their Vipers.

Saudi Arabia did participate with their F-15's last year. Maybe, if we're lucky - this time they might send the the F-Typhoon.

I understand that Egypt were very keen to participate but let's see.
Saudis in the past brought both the F-15s and Tornadoes, be good if they bring their Typhoons this time .

The BAF should join this exercise and smell coffee after five decades in hibernation. And, the BAF pilots should be put under the harshest combat scenarios to test their mettle and shortcomings....

Meanwhile apart from whatever else, two PAF Viper squadrons will be involved in the extensive exercise.

Would be a great sight to see those F-14s flying though. I doubt they'll ever pull that off though.

I understand that Iran was very keen to participate but since the exercise is reportedly starting next month, not sure if it allows them enough time to join in .

I don't think the US would appreciate those Tomcats flying in a Pakistani-run Excercise.

Besides, I can't recall Iran ever sending its Air Force to any Foreign Excercise, or inviting anyone including China & Russia.
So far the three confirmed nations will be participating with the following equipments.

Tornados' ...

You sure you're not confusing with Typhoons?

Tornados..., I mean those relics still fly? I would've imagined that the Saudi's had retired 'em by now. Everyone else seems to have.

@CombatCorner - not questioning your info, but please reconfirm. If memory serves, the Saudi's did bring the Tornados for some Excercise to Pakistan a lil' over a couple of years back.

Vipers by other 2 Nations. NICE. Basically, two of the largest Viper Operators after the US (Turkey & Egypt). But those Egyptian Vipers are similar to the Iraqi F-16's. Toothles (without BVR). I think this may be the first time the Egyptian Air Force will be participating in an Excercise in Pakistan.

Although, last year PAF was invited to Exercise Bright Star '23 with its JF-⚡.

Still waiting for some word from the PAF...
