Shocking revelations have emerged regarding the activities of Fitna al-Khawarij, a terrorist group that allegedly misuses religion to radicalise youth against the Pakistan Army.

The alleged video confession was aired live by state broadcaster PTV News, then picked up by private news media channels.

Alleged foreign militant, identified as Ehsanullah, son of Abdul Janan from the Mehsud tribe, disclosed that he supported commanders Badri, Mushtaq, Grenade, and Islamuddin for three years. He revealed that Fitna al-Khawarij manipulated young people to carry out terrorist attacks, including assaults on police stations and the use of armoured vehicles.

Fitna al-Khawarij is a term the state uses to refer to terrorists affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan post May 2025 war with India.

Ehsanullah said several commanders exploited youth for personal gains, encouraging immoral behaviour and wrongdoing. He claimed the group falsely labelled the Pakistan Army as non-Muslims, while in reality, the terrorists themselves were apostates. He noted that he observed army personnel performing prayers regularly, demonstrating their faith.

The terrorist said he personally learned prayers and the Kalima, which he had not known before, and appealed to young people to support the Pakistan Army to prevent and eliminate terrorist elements. He said the actions of Fitna al-Khawarij had caused widespread destruction.

Security forces continue operations against those spreading terror, hatred, and unrest in the name of religion. Authorities remain committed to eliminating Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists from the country.

The Fitna of the Kharijites is using mosques in the name of Islam for terrorism, which poses a grave threat to the religion of Islam and the protection of the public.

The lamentable act of the Fitna of the Kharijites turning mosques into hideouts - In the light of the Quran and Hadiths, it is permissible to take action in mosques against elements that desecrate the sanctity of mosques.

If we look at the history of Islam, we have the example of the Masjid-e-Dirar before us—Masjid-e-Dirar was built near Masjid Quba during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family and companions) by the hypocrites, and it is known in history by this very name. After it was built, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family and companions) ordered it to be demolished by the command of Allah.

Regarding Masjid-e-Dirar, verses 107 and 108 of Surah At-Tawbah from the Holy Quran were revealed.

Allah Almighty says:

"And those who built a mosque to cause harm, to promote disbelief, to create division among the Muslims, and as a hideout for those who have already been at war with Allah and His Messenger—they will surely swear that their intention was only good, but Allah bears witness that they are liars." (Surah At-Tawbah: 107)

The command of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is:

"Soon a time will come when the worst people will be those who sit in the mosques, who will shout and talk worldly matters there; do not sit with them, for Allah has no need of them." (Musnad Ahmad)

Prohibition of Entering Mosques with Weapons

The Noble Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"When any one of you passes by our mosque or market and has an arrow with him, he should grasp its head (conceal it), so that it may not cause injury to anyone."

(Sahih al-Bukhari: 7075, Sahih Muslim: 2615)

When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered the concealment of the arrowhead in mosques so that no one would be harmed, then how much more prohibited is it to enter fully armed, spread corruption, and use them?

In the view of religious scholars, this is haram, and the command is to eliminate the Kharijites everywhere—

Purifying mosques of Kharijites and unmasking their facilitators is the collective responsibility of us all.

The attached graphics show some evidence of the presence of Kharijites in mosques and the times, which the Kharijites themselves have admitted or displayed their presence.

From Khyber to Waziristan, there are countless incidents and evidence of these Kharijites violating the sanctity of mosques and using them for their nefarious intentions.

The question is: Can these elements who violate the sanctity of mosques be Muslims?

The Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has issued a warning that the Afghan regime is now a threat not just to Pakistan but to the entire region and the world, citing the abandonment of $7.2 billion worth of American military equipment during the US withdrawal.

Earlier this week, speaking to senior journalists on matters of national security, the DG ISPR detailed extensive counter-terrorism operations and criticised the Afghan Taliban’s failure to prevent cross-border incursions and its continued patronage of militant groups.
