Video description --> I am very grateful to Czech climber Klára Kolouchová, who invited me to join her at U.S. International expedition to the second highest peak of the World, mystic K2 at Karakoram, Pakistan! This is a short movie about flying a drone at high altitude at Camp I (6334 m a.s.l.)

Great Trango Tower + Nameless Tower + Uli Biaho Tower along the Baltoro glacier in the remote Karakoram range of Pakistan are some of the greatest alpine climbing challenges in the world with the highest vertical drops nestled among other 8000m peaks like K2, Gasherbrum, and Broad Peak. Travel begins from Islamabad to Skardu through Askole and the Shigar Valley up to the Baltoro glacier and Trango Towers in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Challenges include flooding, washed out roads, broken 4x4s, gastroenteritis, heat waves, ice storms, water purification, rock fall, collapsing seracs, freezing rain, high altitude, minimal communication, plus climbing and filming permits along with a vast array of other logistical issues. But there is nothing else on earth like this place, with endless forms of the most beautiful, massive, and intimidating spires, cliffs, glaciers, and seracs at every turn.
