Iran Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence (civilian and military)

Iran, China and Russia were unaffected by the CrowdStrike idiots mayhem.

USA is failing to pieces victim of their own woke ideology in big companies.

The fail of Crowdstrike can be only explained if the highest levels of idiocy come to upper stage of big USA companies: A update launched without test it in a sandbox first.

And a cybersecurity company chosen by all Western important companies with no reason, with no merits, created artificially from the power, soviet style, with no free competence.

USA is become a Woke USSR kind of empire.

CrowdStrike is demonstrating its long-lasting commitment and accomplishments in establishing diversity, equity and inclusion. This recognition, along with the certification as a Best Place to Work for the LGBTQIA+ Community, captures the culture and values that CrowdStrike manifests for its current and prospective employees.

:ROFLMAO:

What is the need to use Windows and Crowdstrike in a simple Digital Signage software? Which task is always the same: show a little piece of information in a display, and no virus or cyberattacks can be done if it's well done.

A little example of how big Western companies can be plenty of idiots, and decisions are not made rationally, but obbeying certains dogmas and contracting some companies with no logical reason.

It is quite special to rank Iran at this level when we know that Iran was the first in the world to attack targets with a group of drones guided with artificial intelligence, it was in Syria.
Caution this has nothing to do with onboard systems . Also, caution the definition of AI has significantly changed over the very recent past few years. It used to be ‘simple’ pattern recognition. Today it decision making (‘generative’).

Achieving local generative AI is not terribly difficult since the models are by definition small. However, as far as I know they are error prone. I don’t see any public actor achieving this today. Yet.

Iran’s drone AI was/is ahead of its time assuming the old definitions.

Regardless, in this case , sovereign AI is in the realm of billions if not trillions of parameters which painstakingly is harvested from indigenous digital data. The power of sovereign AI is directly related the the size of indigenous data AND the power of the hardware dedicated to harvest that data. No can do locally/onboard.

You can make assumptions on where Iran is from there

P.S. powerful large foundational models CAN train local small ones. Otherwise local specialized models must be trained manually via what is called reinforcement learning (read humans are used to train). Possible but time consuming and still error prone. Today. It is still far more prudent to invest in these AI systems than trying to build conventional systems such as aircraft vs AI driven unmanned ones.
