The bad thing about this is it's negotiations under fire now. Israel/US are trying to get Iran to surrender nuclear program. If Iran does that they'll request to surrender ballistic missile program.

The US demands are irrational and crazy. Israel is demanding the whole region to surrender.

There's no off ramp here because US and Israel are insane and on a genocidal rampage in the region.

Iran may feel it has nothing to lose soon. It will remain calculated but the US and Israel are not giving it any good options.

There’s no purpose in those talks. Iran needs to learn from North Koreas example. Zios will never accept an independent Iran so you need to just be as strong as you can be to prevent this from happening again.

I was suggesting any 5gen airplane as a quick solution just to use their radar/EW suite even while the plane is parked on the ground. Nobody needs to fly it in combat.

It is an underuse and there may be better solutions but situation in Iran is desperate at the moment. They desperately need something that can track the Israeli planes and target their SAMs.

If IAF planes detect a radar signal, they can use AGM-88 HARM to neutralize it. Besides, Iran is a large country. Wherever they place this aircraft, coverage will be limited.

It amazes me that so many people, including Iranians, don't understand that Israel is physically in the Middle East but the societal mindset is Western. It has very limited appetite for civilian casualties.

As civilian deaths mount, people will demand answers from Netanyahu why he started this war when there was no threat from Iran and negotiations were in progress.

By your logic, no aircraft should ever use their radar because they would be shot down. Aircraft radar and EW suite exist for a purpose, especially the latest gen.

Besides, Iran is a large country. Wherever they place this aircraft, coverage will be limited.

Limited coverage over key sites is better than zero coverage right now.
Plus aircraft can be moved around the country at will. This will also render useless any data collected from their previous location.

Iranian hypersonic missiles are successfully able to bypass Israeli radar defence systems, especially when paired with slower missiles. Perhaps using decoys or other penetration aids.

Iran tested a new type of warhead that behaved slightly differently and there is suspection a new type of payload may be used next, whatever that may be.

Defending its nuclear program? The Israelis have already bombed Iranian nuclear sites multiple times. The Israelis are currently just doing small surface attacks on underground facilities but can escalate all the way to use of nukes from Jericho 2/3, that is assuming Americans (who made it clear Iran cannot have nuke) aren't dragged into the conflict. The Israelis have also been killing Iranian scientists with impunity well before the conflict started so rebuilding is not as easy as it seems.

Will of civilians is weak, but militaries are trained to deal with morale loss in war.

Not a single Israeli soldier has even been killed yet.

You say that the strikes on Tel Aviv demoralize Israelis, sure, but the strikes on Tehran also demoralized Iranians, did you read this thread earlier? If anything Israeli settlers couldn't care less if the land they stole is attacked, they can always run back to Europe.

Iran seeks to defend its nuclear capabilities. To do that it has to stop Israeli attacks on Iranian soil. To do that it must degrade IDF strike capabilities which it hasn't. It's too early to declare Iranian defeat but also too early to declare Israel's downfall has begun lol.

Israel is avoiding hitting too hard in hopes of initiating a regime change, once that changes and Iran starts sending larger waves then the real war begins.

Let's wait a week or so and see. If Iran can eliminate Israeli AD, and then move to Israeli AF targets, It will be a significant event.
