It really doesn't matter what the world thinks.

The US as the sole Super Power does what it likes and nobody can stop them. Nations can resist and get destroyed in the process but other than small loss of pride for the US (if it withdraws), it doesn't matter much to the Americans on grad scheme of things.

Everyone keeps telling us that the US is finished, yet here we are today once again that it has attacked a nation of 90 million people and no one was able to stop them. Why is that?

At least the US no longer dares to use ground troops.

As for air strikes, few countries in this world can stop the B-2.

Yes I appreciate that, I mean I'm not that daft. The point I'm trying to make is that they had a program they were working on which they shelved. The fact they were at 60% was because they were researching - most analysts from Brookings Far East Studies Center and RUSI all state - Iran had thr wherewithal to conduct a test within a very short time span.

The mating of the device was much further down the line. But they had the building blocks to conduct a limited test.

I'm afraid that with regards to Israel, their end games are identical. One is just more covert in its machinations .

That is where the part of "If you are looking at 2 parties inside the same country" comes in.

I mean, you are talking about the same country, I mean, do you have different parties in Pakistan with a different end game for India? It's ALWAYS been like this in politics. Selfdom a major party in a country have a different "stance" with the same countries. The difference is ALWAYS going to be optics and politics.

I'm sorry but that's just not true. Even if they maged to get enough of the enriched uranium (a big if) developing an actual design for a working bomb would take weeks along with multiple failures. The truth is they weren't close then and they are even further now

Iran mastered all of those elements by 2003 already. With such a huge stockpile of 60% HEU that could be enriched to sufficient 90% HEU for a few warheads within a few days.

They wish to register their protest as is their right being a member of the UN. I see no harm in this.

How could 125 aircrafts have been used? That makes no sense. All tomahawk missiles are likely launched from subs, 14 bunker buster bombs are from 7 bombers, and maybe 20-30 escort stealth jets to protect them? I don't get where the extra 90 planes come into play, that doesn't add up.

The bombers could have been escorted until they entered the airspace not permitted for 4th generation aircraft, while the B-2 continued penetrating until it reached Fordow. The same thing happened when the B-2 returned after the attack with the escorts following and protecting the B-2, not to mention the massive electronic attack support that happened in Iran at the time of the attack that was clearly by American jamming aircraft. There are still the tankers that must be included in the account.

Which is why diplomacy with USA is now officially and completely dead. USA cannot be trusted to obide by any diplomatic norms. This should end the "debate" in Iran about USA and Iran and which way to go forward.

That ship has long sail when they evac the Iraqi Airbase (thought I posted it here sometime ago, probably lost in all those posts) back then I already know US is going to order that strike.

The USAF moved the unhardened aircraft out of Baghdad and Al Udeid.

I don't like the optics of this, that means USAF is expecting an attack in Iraq and Qatar....
