Iran is in no position to continue this war. Lets take the win when you have it. Its a war of attrition and while Iran may have a lot of missiles it is going to struggle to launch them in the long run. Similarly, Israel would have had to accept the fact that the war has come home and is clearly visible but to sustaint it would have been difficult.

So, both were not keen to be in a position for such an outcome. Iran has lost strategically which is probably the far bigger concern because after this ceasefire will come the nuclear talks and supposed negotiations. Irans is now in a far weaker position should it still try to negotiate its right to use nuclear technology. However, Iran could come out and say that there is no need for anything because everything has been destroyed ...kind of create strategic ambiguity. Irans strategy of proxy war has been shown the door....so...it now needs to determine whether India was indeed the right partner or would it be beneficial to improve ties with Pakistan and China for its defence.

I can tell one thing is that with Beidu, HQ9, HQ19 and a range of other AD for IADs plu coupled with JF17s, J10s and J35s would make Iran a highly contested air space such that Israeil would need to accept some very high attrition if it were to even attempt air superiority over Iran.

India has never been a partner with Iran. Defence or otherwise

by the way, if anyone thinks Fordow is buried deep (80m under mountain) or new Natanz site (200m under mountain)... Iran's main missile bases are buried 250-500m under mountains!

Iran will learn lessons: build many more entrances to each base, keep bulldozers within inside bases, and use more launch methods

And better air defence capabilities of both the IADS and aircraft to stop these bases getting knocked out, so that they can do their launches. Lack of air force for Iran is critical right now.

The counter for all these plans is the J-35 to take out aircraft refuellers that operate over Iraq an Syria so that the IDF cannot operation over Iran.

I even mentioned why, in an earlier post, that Putin said two things that completely invalidated all their claims of friendship with Iran:

1. Putin said that many Israelis were Russian-speaking people and Russia considers this in their relations with Israel (i.e. we see Israel as a brotherly nation)
2. Putin said that Russia-Israel relations were based on mutual trust (i.e. we will never do something that is against the interests of Israel)

Also, Russian exported equipment have performed quite poorly against Israel. Russia cannot be trusted. I think at this point, the only country that we can truly trust is North Korea.

if you look at the sequence of events, it is fair to now conclude both of these individuals were assassinated by Israel as part of their attempted regime change operation.

However, the onus is on Iran to develop a deep pipeline of potential new leaders and get past the era of personality cult. Iran is a country of 90m people, there are alot of smart brains in Iran just down to stats alone.
