Do we know the delivery schedule? these things don't happen overnight usually, when an order is placed, especially when Russia is in a war where there is attrition and other orders placed much earlier.

It has always been like this with the IRIAF. They prefer to keep a shadow of secrecy and confirm and deny all the time. This strange behavior is mainly due to the US and Israel lobbying with Russians to stop the deals with Iran, particularly the IRIAF.
Iran has been in negotiation with the Russians since 2019 and we signed the deal a few years ago. I don't remember the date, but it was probably in October 2021, after the UN Security Council sanctions on selling offensive weapons to Iran expired.

Yes, the first batch was supposed to be delivered in 2024, but then many Iranian news outlets, including official ones, claimed March 2025 to be the date. Yet, nothing happened as usual.

Iran capitulated in 2015 when we decided to accept the snapback mechanism.

They just backed off from zero enrichment policy to 3.76% enrichment allowed

But with massive setbacks such as no further R&D and no future facilities/centrifuges
