If I were Iran, I would buy North Korean missiles. North Korean missiles are clearly more advanced than Iranian ones. Iran's most advanced medium-range missiles are still traditional liquid-fueled missiles, while North Korean missiles are far more advanced.

Hashd-al Shaabi (PMU) is allied with the Iraqi govt. Their decision relies on that of the Iraqi govt. Besides, US has been reportedly moving many ISIS fighters that they arrested to Iraq. If PMU joins the possible war between Iran and US-Israel, a civil war could be triggered in Iraq. So, it looks like they weighted all options and are following Iraqi govt's lead on this conflict.

Iranian hypersonic missiles were able to penetrate all of the western and Israeli air defenses in the last 12-day war with "Israel," and they were able to take down many critical installations in that entity. It looks like you haven't been paying attention to that 12-day war.

From one dictatorship to another. His daughters have zero political experience or roots in Iran, much like himself. His entire family line only started with his father and they have no claim to the throne. Go find a living descendant of the Qajar family and they have more claim to the throne then this dude and his family.

Most likely this family would be assassinated in Iran without immense western protection detail. There is zero chance Pahlavi’s will be accepted by the factions of Iran. I have always been an advocate for the revival of Iranian air force. However, some people might argue that nobody was willing to sell us jet fighters at the time. OK, but we could still purchase air defense systems as they are purely defensive. We spent over 50 billion USD in Syria to save a sex-addict gamer that escaped to Moscow after 11 days. In comparison, 4 battalions of S-300 cost Iran $700-$800 million dollars in 2007.

Had Iran abandoned Syria to the Zionists and their Salafists foot soldiers back in 2011, war would have come to Iran much earlier at a time when the IRGCASF would lack effective missiles to force Israel to push for a cease fire. At that time no one was willing to sell Iran combat aircraft so I am not sure how you think Iran could have spent the money it spent in Syria to bring the IRIAF to a level that it could resist IAF/USAF?

Nobody in Iran is interested in running militias against Israel anymore. IRI is going through an internal coup for good. Khamenei will go as well. If you want to look, go no further than checking where did the trade surplus of 2025 went? it did not reach bank Merkazi.

The US never intended to take on Iran in one go because it was too costly and deadly for their forces in the region. Just like they didn't take on Iraq in one go. I don't disagree with your coup d'état theory and I have been vocal about that for years. But a coup in a closed two-party system like Iran where means of power mostly belonged to the conservatives needed multiple steps. Had we been able to stop the chain of events, starting by the assassination of Gen. Soleimani in Iraq, things would've been very different today. Again, too late for what if's at this point.

I believe Turkey is playing a huge role in the coup taking place in Iran, on the behalf of the Western world. That's probably why the regime decided not to involve Turkey in the negotiations with the US, but that's a different matter.

Read again. 4 battalions of S-300 PMU2 cost us $700 million dollars in 2007. Export version of J10C costs $80 million dollar per unit. Now do a simple math and see how much 50 billion USD is. We could've spent that money on our own IADS, drones and ballistic missiles instead of some asshole that ruined his country and escaped to tovarisch Putin in the end. The same thing goes for useless militias like Hashd al-Shaabi or Hezbollah, both of which were dead silent and absent in the 12-day war and will be absent in the war with the US as well.
