If this is the case, then the FO should label the Airspace OOB......You don't fly in a PAC-3 (or just about anything) on Auto mode.....It's the same as you don't draw aircraft into an AO while it's under Active Artillery support........

From everything I have read and seen so far Iran has taken the strategy based on the past two interactions with the US that trump can't keep this up forever and has a timescale to work to.

So they just need to hold out long enough for the clock to run out... Then they can just claim a victory by opening communication without having to negotiate from a position of weakness as trump would want.

The only concern here is the regional conflict brewing may be a flashpoint that neither of the three dramatis personae have taken into their initial calculation.

The US can absorb the losses but will be working to a timescale. At what point does the pressure get too much domestically or the pivot towards international involvement once ALOC and SLOCs are threatened or disrupted long enough to cause financial loss.

It will be a victory that will transformed their country for Generations to come, they took on USA/Israel/UK and same time bomb the crap out of Arab scum neighbors, I am telling you that I work with some US ex-soldiers who served in Iraq/Afghanistan, their respect for Iran is at all time high, and despite the all the investments and Billions of dollars purchases they still despise the Saudi's for various reasons.
In fact recently met a Army Soldier who came back from Kuwait just few weeks ago, he was telling stories about the 12 day Iran war and how they were watching missiles flying in both directions, he was drunk which made his way of telling story even funnier.
