Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

there isn't any spare capacity and the Saudi pipeline is designed for a specific API gravity of Saudi light crude and crude with a higher or lower API gravity from other fields will not flow. Of course, transporting the crude by road to a Red Sea terminal is possible but you can't achieve enough throughput for it to be practical.

Saudi oil production is still estimated around 7MBPD.

So where is it going if not thru the east west pipeline? Estimates are the pipeline can take up to 5MBPD.

There is not much more that USA can do than already done, they had their maximum fire power and "shock and Awe" in the early days/week of the war. Now they switch to big mouth, threatening and propaganda while the numbers of interceptors are decreased by day.

Iran just needs to keep the Hormuz close and continue fighting.

How else would they reach the islands? They can go through Saudi but can't take their landing craft with them.
Air power? Chinooks? C-130? C-17? C-5? Black Hawks? Maybe amphibious assault ships in Bahrain? I don't think they plan to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

He is destroying the reputation of the superpower - he is destroying and financially screwing the US.

But isn't that what so many have been fervently hoping and wishing for? The destruction and early death of the mighty superpower is a cherished goal, is it not?

So this must be welcome news in those circles. Why should it be considered as a problem now by those who fall into this category?

Saudi has cut production to 8 MBPD in March 2026 from 10 MBPD. The pipeline can accommodate 7MBPD.

Ye but hes taking half the world with him.
Complete anarchy in the middle east.
Die but die quietly - stop blowing the world up as well

In less then a week we are about to witness jews aided by americans trying to wage a holy war, like crusades, on a muslim nation supported by other "muslim" nations.

People can say whatever they want, but the fact is that this war is driven by religious extremism.

It doesn’t appear they have hit that optimal maximum efficiency.

So sooner or later the storage will fill up and shut in will have to start if they can’t increase that flow rate.

What "weekend invasion"?
The US has moved far too much manpower and materiel into the area not to do a ground invasion. It's going to happen either this week or next, but it's coming.
People are saying this weekend because it'll happen during market close. But could be any weekend, just whenever they deem the assets in place. They won't do it doing market open though.

Well, that is an unfortunate side-effect, I suppose. An orderly implosion without international repercussions may be too much to wish for, methinks.

But maybe out of this chaos grows something much better, eh?
