Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

What "weekend invasion"?
The US has moved far too much manpower and materiel into the area not to do a ground invasion. It's going to happen either this week or next, but it's coming.
People are saying this weekend because it'll happen during market close. But could be any weekend, just whenever they deem the assets in place. They won't do it doing market open though.

Ye but hes taking half the world with him.
Complete anarchy in the middle east.
Die but die quietly - stop blowing the world up as well

Well, that is an unfortunate side-effect, I suppose. An orderly implosion without international repercussions may be too much to wish for, methinks.

But maybe out of this chaos grows something much better, eh?

Not even a single jet fighter has been shot down and not even a single pilot has been captured so far. This is embarrassing.

Well here you have it, this is why the UK has been so quiet about the current affair:

Present state of affairs for the UK MRAD:
9 launchers, so 2 batteries with 2 fire groups of 2 each. The additions, 15-16 launchers total gives the UK 4 batteries, with 2 fire groups of 2 launchers each.

The UK really is in no position to fight an offensive war at this point.

that's not a missile no smoke trail. Probably anti-air artillery.

Not really. Takes decades to turn round an empire if not centuries - ask the Turks Brits etc. but as a great favourite member of the forum said - lets wait and see…….
