In the past few years, the United States has broken its commitments three times after negotiating or reaching agreements with Iran.
Iran has consistently maintained intensive consultations with countries such as China, Russia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt. We hope to reach a reasonable basis for dialogue through consultations and promote a peaceful resolution of the situation.
On April 7, the United Nations Security Council voted on a draft resolution concerning the Strait of Hormuz, and China and Russia cast opposing votes. The Iranian ambassador to China expressed gratitude for this at the press conference.
Fazli, the Iranian ambassador to China, said: These negotiations, these interactions, and the stance taken by China are all based on the principles of international security and international law.
