Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Glad you understand now. Building an Air Force would have been a colossal waste of money for Iran.

And actually it was the most damaged part of Irans military branches and the least effective

The most effective was iron ballistic missiles forces

I heard and read that between a third and half the air to ground campaign was made by israeli fighters. Not to speak of the lebanon one.
Is it minimal ?

And how many Israeli jets were shot down compared with the American jets and American drones? How many Israelis died attacking Iran?
Israel may have carried out the stand off attacks from the air but they were supplied by the Americans, they stayed safe distance from Iran, and they were even using the refuelling by the Americans. So, yes, in comparison, Israel used 'minimal' contribution.

As to Lebanon: It was a war to grab land and for that Israelis are willing to pay some price.

I believe in facts.

Facts are Kim Jong is alive, Khamenei dead, and Maduro jailed.

War in North Korea was near in 2017.

They developed hydrogen bomb and finally USA surrendered.

Joking mood is talk about nukes like something without importance in a defense forum.

Nukes explains the structure of world power last 80 years.
Fat Kims just a $4 billion dolla punk. He'll get taken out in no time and then Russia or China will have to get involved to save that country.

DPRK don't got a military.

Look at the performance of the Russian military in Ukraine.

Get real man.

Da fuqq did 6000 nukes do for Russia in Ukraine?

Agreed Iran has demonstrated insane capabilities

I always knocked them for not building an Air Force

Now everyone knows why
Bhai if the Iranians didn't help out these busted ass Russians with drones/ missiles and sanction beating networks/ supply chains n whatnot..........Russians would've lost a million dead by now in Ukraine.

Their entire military has been exposed as junk!

Yes, the Iranian missiles were the best bang for the buck!
An Airforce in modern warfare is not much good without much else on the ground and in the sky/orbit in the mix, along with a lot of other resources, training, and constant preparedness. The Indian Airforce is modern and well supplied but they still couldn't stood up to the Pakistani Airforce due to some some sophisticated advantages (and perhaps Chinese help) the Pakistanis had during the May 2025 conflict with India. India's Pravin Swaheny talks about those things.

Also, the Pakistan-India war theater is very different from Iran's. Pakistan faces an immediate neighbor with a long border and threats are everywhere. In case of Iran, no country dares launch a ground invasion.

Only poor/ lower caste people believe nowadays that nukes are the ultimate answer to mankind's political dramay/ third world idiocy/ shit-hole existence and whatnot.

Reality is that using nukes (today).......means suicide.

You do realize that self-sacrifice/suicide is as old as humanity itself?.. Human stupidity may be limitless, but so is man's willingness to die or kill for a cause...

From a purely materialist perspective, even Karbala could be dismissed as collective suicide. Yet history remembers it very differently...

The mistake is assuming that once the cost becomes high enough, humans will always choose survival. History says otherwise...

If Israel was successfully deploying antagonistic chanting as a means to recruit American public opinion against Iran, we would not be seeing any of these trends that are illustrated above.

It would a mistake to confuse the unpopularity of the war itself (which it is) with reduced support for Israel (which is only the soup du jour in a few educational institutions already growing cold), and from there it remains quite a stretch to imagine it somehow means increased support for a theocratic Iran (of which there is precious little).

The social media echo chamber amplification over this issue is probably ten times more than that of the claimed popularity of IK.

This forum is part of that echo chamber parade over this topic.

Why whatever happened to ‘only total surrender’ and taking Iran’s oil? Now reduced to slating demonic Israeli pals and ‘wait to see terms’ eh lol. How the mighty fall.

It is only prudent to wait to see the terms first before suffering from premature celebration from any side. and I have maintained that from the beginning.

The Orange Clowns' bluster is immaterial.

(The real demons hide in the details, always.)

I don't believe these current conflicts have the potential to escalate to the level of having to resort to using nukes.

Both Ukraine and Iran are wars of choice.

Its almost impossible for anybody to contemplate using nuke weapons in either of them.

And fat kim is no threat to anybody.

You should be more optimistic.
During this 60 days Irán will assemble a lot of missiles, replace part of destroyed Air defenses and collect a huge amount of cash. And with cash the rest will come. Air force should be second after re-stocking the missile inventory.
Anyway it is easier to replace 10 missiles than a long range fix radar in Qatar or Emirates or Kuwait.
That’s still not going to make the US honor the deal.

Agree with Dr Nasr on his thoughts that at the end of the day, the US abandoned the GCC to the whims of Iran:

Right and by now most of us here seem to know the changed dynamics in the region. I believe Netanyahu's folly of attacking Qatar was a turning point much like India's Modi attacking Pakistan in May 2025.

Dr. Vali Nasr is a great analyst and Mehdi Hassan should let him talk more and not put words in his mouth.

Israeli openly saying they didn't nor recognize US-Iran peace pact and will not halt offensive against Lebanon, Further they claim that they will not vacate the area whatever they have captured and vows to capture until deep Beirut but problem is that Iran issues no statement yet.
