Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

That’s still not going to make the US honor the deal.

And what exactly are the American options after, say, 2 months or 4 months or one year? Bring an armada of vessels to attack Iran again? Build up the forces in the US bases near Iran, build up those bases and radars, only to be in short range of the Iranian missiles? Even if Iran maintains its current depleted stockpiles of missiles and drones, in future they would be still enough to give back a lethal blow.

It is over, guys, it is over as far as a direct American involvement in a war on Iran. Per my understanding, it was already over when a ceasefire was announced in April this year.

Fat Kims just a $4 billion dolla punk. He'll get taken out in no time and then Russia or China will have to get involved to save that country.

DPRK don't got a military.

Look at the performance of the Russian military in Ukraine.

Get real man.

Da fuqq did 6000 nukes do for Russia in Ukraine?
Nukes always have an effect, but maybe is not the effect you're expecting.

Main effect is deterrence, i.e: something that we dont see.

Nukes modify USA destabilization plans before it starts.

Without nukes, it would be no Ukraine war but direct Russia war.

Right and by now most of us here seem to know the changed dynamics in the region. I believe Netanyahu's folly of attacking Qatar was a turning point much like India's Modi attacking Pakistan in May 2025.

Dr. Vali Nasr is a great analyst and Mehdi Hassan should let him talk more and not put words in his mouth.
Amazing how the US military abandoned its own bases and fled, what speak about defending the GCC or honoring its security commitments/ pacts with the GCC.

I believe if anybody was looking for proof on the effectiveness/ precision/ devastation of Iranian strikes on the GCC/ US military........this is the proof in da pudding.

I agree with Dr Nasr that now the strategic situation has dramatically changed.

GCC will never or more like can never trust the US again.

Iran war like Ukraine war, it's not over.

It only has moved to another stage with less USA involvement.

USA is a superpower in decline, and like all collapsing empires, they are dropping far conquered lands like Europe and GCC, but ensuring the destruction of former territories through Ukraine and Iran war.

Nobody wonders why they keep 80% rest if eternal Iran peace is achieved.

Besides Trump tried to drag Europe to Hormuz in recent G7 meeting.

So a Iran war with Israel and Europe involved, without USA, it would be wonderful from USA interests point of view.

In fact these things are simple, USA is just fcking their allies.

The hard is think freely in the middle of a mountain of USA bullshit narrative and lies, and all their little minions repeating made in usa nonsenses.

A bad comparison. I could explain why, but in the comment section there are already some good counter arguments.

Anyone here trying to belittle the political changes in America are either uninformed or plainly dishonest in presenting the changes.
1) Some months ago, not a single Republican House Rep. had voted in vote of the War Powers Act. But a few weeks ago, enough Republicans switched sides to pass that vote.
2) Just a few days ago, 4 Republican Senators crossed the floor to vote in favor of the War Powers Act; the motion failed by just one vote! But still shows the trend even in the US Senate.
3) JD Vance in the Megyn Kelly show yesterday is remarkable: He is taking on the Israel Firsters Neo Cons over this war. That he went to the MK show itself is remarkable because she and Tucker are brutally targeting Israel these days.
4) Trump insults many countries but his recent attacks on Israel and Netanyahu are by far the worst against any country.

On top of above, polls after polls show Israel losing ground in the American public opinion. So there is a reason the Israelis hate Trump and Vance and the Israel Firsters are mobilizing to stop the changed American policy on Israel by using the Israeli stooges like Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, and Tom Cotton.

She meets her fatherland 😂
They don't care about their own. They will accept collateral harm to Indian civilians. Likewise they trample over their own to get to western countries for "opportunities saar!". The crying about "terrorism" is completely fake and is a simple excuse to take Pakistani land, which they always dreamed was "rightfully" theirs as part of a Hindu rashtra. A vile and incorrigible nation.

Israeli openly saying they didn't nor recognize US-Iran peace pact and will not halt offensive against Lebanon, Further they claim that they will not vacate the area whatever they have captured and vows to capture until deep Beirut but problem is that Iran issues no statement yet.

think abit.... it plays exactly into Iran´s hands. once the deal is signed Friday which according to Vance will include "Israel has to leave Lebanon" and they dont, it will create a even bigger rift between the US-Israel, Iran then has legitimate right to attack Israel again without US interference as Iran can say "Israel broke agreement you couldnt stop your dog (Israel) so we had to act"

lets see if Americans can calm down their israeli dog.

But whatever option Netanyahu now chooses he loses.

If he stays in Lebanon = Rift with the US , any Iranian attack will be seen as "Stopping israeli aggression".

if he leaves = entire israeli society will call him a loser again.

not good cards for Netanyahu right now.

I don't believe these current conflicts have the potential to escalate to the level of having to resort to using nukes.

Both Ukraine and Iran are wars of choice.

Its almost impossible for anybody to contemplate using nuke weapons in either of them.

And fat kim is no threat to anybody.

People carrying guns in violent encounters are 5 times more likely to end up getting shot as per studies... Not because guns cause violence in isolation, but because once everyone is armed and escalation starts, the situation becomes harder to control...

Same logic at the state level. Nukes may have prevented a world war for 80 years, but they don’t make war impossible, they just raise the stakes once deterrence fails...

India–Pakistan shows this in real terms, including 2019 and the May escalation last year... two nuclear powers with a long history of conflict, deep mistrust, and recurring crises... A conventional war could plausibly escalate to tactical nuclear use and, from there, potentially to a broader exchange. Not inevitable, but far from unthinkable...

Same applies to Iran–Israel or Russia–Ukraine if both sides had nukes...

Nukes never deterred Iran from retaliating.

Nukes never deterred Pakistan from retaliating.

Nukes never deterred Ukraine from retaliating.

And believe me, when and if the time comes, nukes will not deter Japan or SK from punking fat kim in no time.

Great post!
And that's how I see things are going to go forward. There is a reason the Israelis and the Israel Firsters are in a 'meltdown' state; Israel, or specifically, Netanyahu has lost in his ambitious plans of expansionism.
Iranians are waiting to sign the agreement with America and then...

I believe its evident that nukes have well n truly run their course and are now relegated to the status of legacy weapons.

Nobody is deterred anymore from retaliating even if one party possesses them.

Pretty obvious that the way India attacked us during Sindoor op.......they completely disregarded our nuke arsenal and went ahead with a massive attack. Our nuke deterrence does not exist and the same goes for India.

Nukes have failed to prevent conflict.
