Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

There could also be a ground invasion coming from the border Iran has with Northern Iraq (Kurdistan). So while bombing is on the south, Mossad agents could be invading from the North West.

The problem Iran has now is it doesn’t know where the real attack will come from. From the south, or the north via Iraq or even both. Hence the lethargy in responding to the attacks. Iran needs to preserve military resources for the real battle for when it starts.

When we say China is a purely business nation I find this almost very sad for the Chinese as if they are not fully human the same way the rest of us are.... They just live and breathe for business

The Chinese look at the world from a historical and civilizational perspective which gives them an attitude to the non Chinese world.

This has been an attitude that has served the continuity of the Chinese people.

They are outside of the abrahamic Framing of the world, they have insisted on the wisdom of being inward-looking, they made a big wall you know, ethnically they are apart, and an overarching emphasis on internal harmony within and the near abroad...... If you take all of this into account you would change your expectation on the Chinese because they have a different instinct altogether and it's not always business, they just happen to be quite diligent and hard working

Sadly, for us, we wear our hearts on our sleeves.

LOL. That is nothing Sir. I recall when I was repeatedly taunted and ridiculed for keeping my "wait and see" attitude, right up to and including the Admin of PDF itself, simply because of that attitude. Everyone was giddy with claims of victory and hundreds of billions flowing in. What happened?

Well, now my phrase has been trademarked by the Meme Lord himself, and look at how popular it is getting, for example "The Legend" himself:

I advise all brothers here to not get emotional and wait for the response to see what will happen

How the "turn tables"! :LOL.

Seriously though, even now I will agree with the "wait and see" approach. Wars are always unpredictable by their very nature. Much can, and will change for both sides even now.

What is 100% sure is that both sides will end up negotiating. Just how much punishment each side wishes to absorb before it sits down with the other is what remains to be seen.

As always, I will wait and see. :D

Chinese are smart people; you will never see them opening their mouths unnecessarily. Dealt with a lot of Chinese... Cold and calculated, unlike us Pakistanis and Iranian brothers. Sadly, for us, we wear our hearts on our sleeves.
When Trump threatened to invade North Korea during his first term, the western media were claiming Usa aircraft carriers are moving towards North Korea, China stayed quiet only at the end made one statement "we will defend North Korea" and suddenly all the hype died down, now Trump claims he is friends with North Korea leader. China has its own policy, if their interests are protected then why must they defend those with no defence treaty.

We got rid of Iran's first president, Abolhassan Bani-Sadr, after that weak betrayal lost Khorramshahr to Iraq baath regime. BTW we later took back it by Ayatollah Khomeini's fatwa.

We will also get rid of the pezeshkian government and the Speaker of Parliament.

People are extremely angry with these individuals and with the Reformist Party, whether they are in Parliament or in the government.

These idiots cannot negotiate.

They accepted the ceasefire when oil was at $120 and U.S. economy looked like it was going to weaken. They believed that Trump had agreed to their “12 point” agreement.

Turned out 12 point agreements were never agreed too and both sides had their own agreement.

Then they came up with the MoU and believed the U.S. when they said they would let Iran manage Hormuz. Instead on Day 1 U.S. opened a lane in Oman and forced all ships to follow to go thru that lane thus rendering the Iranian lane redundant and worthless.

Now the idiots (Argachi, Qalibaf) want a 3RD chance to agree to another agreement that the U.S. won’t follow.

Either Iran goes for the nuke or it will end up being lied to. They made their redline Hormuz and now any backing off it would put Iran in a weaker position then if they just kept their mouth shut!

Here is a bit more realistic take about the 3 islands that sit in the middle of the Strait and enable Iran to exert control. That is all this war has boiled down to now, who controls the Strait. Forget about the orginal objectives of regime change, nuke program blah blah.

I respect Mr. Parsi a lot and I always pay attention to his remarks, but what I was referring to isn't something that's going to occur tomorrow or next week.

The US doesn't go in all at once. They have learned their lessons from Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam. Instead, they take small, calculated steps in executing their strategy for Iran. When I mention the US taking control of Iranian oil fields, it doesn't imply that American forces will physically seize the area by next Saturday. It simply indicates that they will eventually gain control over the wells, the flow of oil, the wealth, and the markets.

They might begin with one of the Iranian islands they consider strategic to capture and manage the Strait of Hormuz. After that, they could propose a phony ceasefire, a memorandum of understanding, or a multinational agreement to halt the conflict and observe how the Iranian leadership responds, while continuously adjusting their approach. There could also be internal strife in Tehran afterward, meaning a "civil war" in the higher echelons of Iranian decision-making circles.

Or, equally possible, intensified military actions by the IRGC, but the ultimate US aim is to seize Iranian wealth. Attack, block, cease, capture.

Trump explicitly stated that all Iranian wealth belongs to them - and I believe that his comment about Iranian civilization wasn't just a slip of the tongue either but a revelation of his true intentions.

In fact, he made the same statemens for months now:

“With a little more time, we can easily OPEN THE HORMUZ STRAIT, TAKE THE OIL, & MAKE A FORTUNE,” the US president wrote in a social media post on Friday.

What causes you to doubt your enemy when he explicitly reveals his intentions towards you?

Dismantling the Iranian union and state will naturally lead to control over Iranian resources; they will undoubtedly try to undermine Iran's unity. It would be foolish of them not to attempt this. The potential rewards are too tempting, and the return on investment is too high.

After a certain stage in the escalation/war events, even complete capitulation will not rescue our neighbors. I believe that the majority of Iranians recognize this danger, which is why even pro-IRI groups are beginning to oppose the existing leadership. They are too passive.

You all keep up with the ongoing battle daily but seem to overlook the larger picture.

Come on, China also has warned the U.S. countless times on Taiwan and still the U.S. sells weapons by the boatload and does war games. Plenty of toothless warnings and statements that have fallen on deaf ears.

Let’s not act like US is afraid of China. Xi is a pacifist and Chinese military haven’t fought a major war since when? Korea? Didn’t a high ranking General not just get purged for suspected ties with the West?

China has the industrial base and military capacity to fight a tough war against the U.S. But much like Russia and Iran they won’t fight such a war unless they have no choice.

Xi is simply not going to risk his legacy on confrontation. He seems content to see if the Empire will collapse from within à la Rome.

Tehran, the city alone, absorbed over 8,000 US and Israeli strikes and nothing has happened in Tehran.
People really greatly overestimate and exaggerate the destruction caused by missiles.
I didn't know until @jhungary explained. Ofcourse no doubt missiles, drones are unbelievable weaponary but having 20,000 will not protect you from superpower nation, for that you need some powerful warheads, and if invaded you take everyone down with you. The enemies will still continue to plot and destroy you, but direct invasion or attack can be given with a powerful reply.

Why? What does it mean in Urdu/Pashto?
Brother, please ignore him he is some illiterate troll. He didn't even know the difference between Luristan and confused it with the vulgar phrase for phallic objects in Punjabi which is pronounced with a "LO" and not "LU"... Luristan as anyone who has bothered to read a book (which that guy clearly hadn't) is named after the Lur people hence Luristan = Land of the Lur's.

This is the problem with some illiterate people who don't even know their own lingual roots and sit and watch Hindi movies all day, had he paid attention in school and read Urdu and Farsi to some basic degree and Pak Studies he wouldn't have tried to make that a joke.

There will not be an Iranian nuke. The window of opportunity has closed.

You do realize that most of our drones and missiles can be fired from anywhere in Iran, right? Do you know the range of something as cheap as Shahed?

They are very specifically targeting the barracks of our ground forces, food supplies, water reserves, power plants, communication antennas, radars, etc. These are all defensive.

Their targeting is too specific for anything else to make sense. A ground invasion is being considered.

There will be one. Just wait and see it for yourself.

The Iranians were never this stupid. Most likely their design was verified in a cold test deep underground under the mountains a decade ago.

Your mistaken about the Chinese and why should China intervene, even if a new Iranian government comes to power, they will not be anti Chinese and Chinese interests will be protected, the same way China trades with Iraq even after new government and military came to power. China also doesn't have any treaty with Iran.

Iran needs to change its international policy, play politics games rather than direct confrontation, slowly get themselves out from this mess and build a powerful economy and military.

Yaar China will never intervene no matter what in ME, let alone in their own hood. Here the JSDF will defeat them in no time, and we know this to be a fact.

I've said it before and I'll repeat it here for you, again........Iran has a far more modern and developed defense industry than these Chinese can ever dream of!....And its proven now too.

Who lands 90% of their drones n missiles on bases defended by THAAD and PAC-3's and Iron Dome and David Sling and Arrow?

China puppu?....................Really?

دو روپئے کی ملٹری ہی چین کی

I mean you know this no?

Khomeini was different. He had balls.
Remember I told you that Khamenei had to annul Pezeshkiyan's presidency? Pezeshkiyan and his team are quite dangerous.
As I told you before, the Supreme Leader cannot remove the president based on his personal ideas.

Bani-Sadr was also removed by Parliament.

We've already had a detailed talk about this matter before.

Actually, he can do that based on the constitution, but even the Parliament didn't impeach this asshole after all his blunders and suspicious mistakes.

Bro, you are here lecturing Iranian members and it's really not a good look. You honestly think you know more about what their country is doing than them? LOL, don't make me laugh please!

It's good to be positive and supportive, but don't project toxic positivity, it comes across as cringe.
