The situation across the Middle East and North Africa is very bad. Millions have been killed and many countries destroyed in the last 2 decades.

I’m telling you I don’t understand people pretending that these Arab states aren’t lead by complete jokes please I wish we had great honest brave leaders

So I guess we have to talk about Arab countries were their backing violent sociopaths in Sudan….uae but let’s get back to Arabs not being involved in this upcoming conflict….Jordan uae and Qatar
Jordan will be again trumps whipping boy and defend Israel getting nothing out of it
UAE actually might assist in this round with more than just refueling and helping to takeout drones and cruise missiles
Qatar can pretend to be neutral but when you have the soldiers in your country operating to attack Iran that’s not neutrality sorry

The situation across the Middle East and North Africa is very bad. Millions have been killed and many countries destroyed in the last 2 decades.

I am talking about for Gulf Arabs. Compared to Gulf War there are no ground troops being deployed and no real threat of regional war erupting for them. That is Saudi Arabia -Kuwait - Bahrain- Qatar-UAE. Their situation was a lot scarier during Gulf war.

We younger generation don't know that Iraq actually invaded and annexed Kuwait in 1990. It was not removed by US forces until later.

So just a small skirmish. Cost for them to do regular blows on Iran is very low.

Because IRI leadership is scared. IRI leadership should threaten any strikes even if small could lead to prolonged regional war.

And actually follow up with threats. It of course won't the regime nature is known to everyone by know bark not bite. They will absorb small skirmishes and call it a day.

This is second time in less than a year Iran will get attacked by Israel and/or the USA. It's a bad strategy for Iran to not show some muscle.

Lots of people say Saudi - Gulf leadership are a joke but look at their respective situation compared to others in MENA region

They have provided a good quality of life for their citizens

It's not about natural resources as others in region have that too

You can call them a joke but maybe they just understand their Arab region better than others

They have connections to big tribes and understand the tribal and religious nature of the region well

No they are not doing anything on behalf of Israel

They are in a cold war with Israel

There is no way to gain military leverage over Israel right now besides establishing Palestinian state and making sure Palestinians stay put where they are

Other alternative is a violent risky full blown war where you have to go all the way and risk nuclear retaliation

It would be better for Palestinian state to be established than Arabs work towards nuclear weapons in long term

If Palestinian people are happy then continue the status quo no need to try overthrowing Israel entirely

Arabs will not deal with Israel much even if peace is made because Israelis are ajam and they aren't getting priority for anything

Iran is different. Iran is the only country that has been standing and fighting continuously for the last 15 to 20 years. That requires stamina, patience, and resilience, and Iran has shown all three. Whatever one thinks of its strategy, its ability to endure sustained pressure is undeniable.

Rich natural resources such as oil and no sanctions play a big role in that. Iran could’ve been the most developed and one of the richest countries in the Middle East if it didn’t go against Western hegemony.
