Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Usual zionist diarrhea on X. They would have done it during 12 days war if they could, they tried and failed.

People said the same thing about Hezbollah during the war when they were dominating the North and forcing mass evacuations. Then the Pager attack, systematic assassination of HZ leadership happen. Then Nasrallah was killed. Then his successor was killed before he could even be in the role a week.

I wouldn’t underestimate US/Israel. They feel they have Iran on the ropes.

I wouldn’t trust that there aren’t spies in his inner circle. These same spies had planted bombs in the bunker where Iranian generals met to discuss responding to 12 day war.

Time and time again Iran has underestimated Israel and its let to assassinations and massive sabotage attacks.

Iran is not underestimating, it's facing NATO fire and intelligence power, same for Hezbollah and Houthis.
Iran has clearly shown improvement in handling internal security threats. And there is no war without casualties.

did anyone really think Nasrallah was safe forever? it was an open secret that he lived in a bunker in Dahiyeh. Israel can track Iranian diplomats and IRGC members going to meet him quite easily

and Hezbollah cannot build a massive deep reinforced bunker in Beirut without anyone spotting it, so it was always going to be vulnerable

that Nazi Israel Katz admitted on Israeli TV after the war that they tried to kill Khamenei but couldn't find him. after the Soroka hospital strike Israel said Khamenei cannot be allowed to continue to exist, so we can be sure they tried their best to find and kill him in the final days of the war.

he probably cut off contact with everyone except 1-2 trusted advisors and then moved between safe houses or underground tunnel networks

but sure, nobody should underestimate Israel and the US, just because Israel couldn't kill him in June last year does not mean the US (or even Israel, which learns quickly) cannot kill him in 2026

that is all correct

the problem is the US is after surrender terms, not a fair deal

Maybe there was never going to be a fair deal.

I’m thinking now, that The entire point of JCPOA was to kill Arak reactor, which was the single biggest risk to the West. You can see this in several officials at the time who said that Natanz wasn’t their concern Arak was because of its plutonium dual pathway.

But Iran naively gave up the dual pathway. Almost every nuclear weapon power goes online with plutonium first as it’s easier to do covertly. Arak would have given enough of plutonium for 6-8 bombs a year.

A major redline for west was Arak. So get Iran to give up Arak with empty promises of redesign cooperation. Then make Iran accept 10-15 years of restrictions, then come back and take the uranium route away.

It was a brilliant plan. The U.S. never honors its deals.

Lol we can say whatever we want but i think IRI is one of if not the most resilient government of history of humanity, whatever US does they just don't want to go. It's like its impossible to get rid of them

International geopolitics is never about being fair, since it is always about serving respective national interests by all countries concerned, relentlessly.

Concepts such as Right and Wrong, Fair and Unfair, Good and Bad, all belong in the personal domain.

USA can want whatever it wants, but Iran does not have to agree with any of it. The wisdom lies in getting as much as is possible while giving away as little as possible, and this applies equally to both sides.

Yes, its not a secret that they failed to find and kill Khamenei, I'm not believing the propaganda saying that Israel/US had "mercy and pity of him so they didn't kill him even they knew where he was". Never Israel/US did show mercy in their existence

Khamenei protection was top notch during the war, resisting the biggest intelligence agencies in history

Why can't our generals and other critical figures have a protection like Khamenei did during the war?

generals need to be meeting people and making decisions

Khamenei can just disappear and cut off all contact to survive for a while, they said he was choosing replacement commanders but I doubt he was making military decisions

there are maximalist demands and there are impossible demands

asking Iran to give up enrichment totally, is maximalist and very difficult, but not impossible

asking Iran to give up its missiles, which are virtually its only form of deterrence and self defence, is impossible

to get those terms they have to completely destroy Iran in a large war. a short conflict won't do it

As I said, Iran does not have to agree with any of that at all. It is its sovereign right to decide its own national course as it sees fit.

the point is the US knows these are surrender terms and is therefore not negotiating in good faith with any desire to get a deal

Iran's status quo is still preferable to surrender

Iran's status quo is still preferable to surrender

That is a decision to be made by Iran, and Iran only, as to whatever it wishes to prefer. Whatever it decides deserves respect.

People were naive and believed Iran is going to defeat the US by destroying a couple empty bases and bomb some refineries. The US and Israel owns the global financial system and literally prints the worlds reserve currency. The military budget alone is 1T. They don’t give a f about some damaged bases and refineries that Arabs will pay for anyways.
