Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Friend, let's compare Iran 20 years ago with present-day Iran:

- 20 years ago, Iran did not possess hypersonic technology (today it does)
- 20 years ago, Iran did not possess ANY missiles capable of reaching American bases or Israeli territory (today it does)
- 20 years ago, Iran did not possess ANY drones (today it does)
- 20 years ago, Iran's nuclear program was only symbolic with minimal enrichment (today it does)
- 20 years ago, Iran did not have the technology to disable satellite points (today it does)
- 20 years ago, Hezbollah was just a small party in Lebanon (today it is the largest and most voted)
- 20 years ago, Houthis were "shopping mall security guards" in Yemen, today they govern the country
- 20 years ago, Iraq was dominated by the USA. Today it is controlled by Shiites aligned with Iranian ayatollahs

NOTE: 20 years ago, the USA has already considered a full-scale war with Iran very risky, imagine today... the one who wants to try to destroy Iran is the Zionist Jewish racial supremacist, but since he can't, he wants to use goyim like Trump and Biden to do the job, but Iran has reached a level of defense that even the USA can't handle.

To destroy Iran today, it would require all the troops together: Europe, Russia, China, the USA, Middle Eastern puppets + India, then Iran would be defeated and destroyed. Otherwise, forget it.
This is what I was saying about people having exaggerated views on subjects they don’t seem to actually know about …….sheeesh come on I knew I had you on block for a reason

I agree with @Yasser76 here: I don't think economic strangulation is going to work

That is okay; I am very comfortable with any differences of opinion.

I will however maintain that economic strangulation of Iran is already having a massive impact on its people. Others here may think differently, but that is okay too.

I can wait for more numbers and data. Of course, how Iranians respond., or not, will be the ultimate proof.

the limited time left while Trump is the President.

I will agree with you in that the Great Orange Ape is an unpredictable creature, and a wretched one at that. What he may or may not want, or be able to do in the next three years remains to be seen.

So China should fight directly the US on behalf of those countries who don't even like us?

China has its own moral principles to support Iran, but sometimes don't ask too much from us.
You're correct. It's not China's job to babysit the world when it has 1.4 billion people to look after.

China only commits to a nation when that nation fully commits to China first.

There are only 2 examples of this. North Korea and Pakistan (since August 2019). China has committed to defending their sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Many other nations want the same, and they think they can get it by simply increasing their trade with China. It doesn't work like that.

So many Global South nations are still continuing to buy Russian, American and European (Global North) weapons but when war breaks out, they expect China to help them.

because Israel bombed the entrances. not because the missiles were destroyed or that Iran had a shortage of missiles.

If they can't be accessed during the conflict then that capability might as well be gone, also I am talking about missile launchers not missiles themselves, because if launchers are continuously being hunted it creates a bottleneck essentially nullifying your large missile stockpile

unfortunately you seem to have fallen to Israeli propaganda about these launchers

large number of launchers are stored in these missile bases that could not be accessed

and Israel showed evidence for targeting 60-80 launchers overall

these are not high tech vehicles at all and are easily replaced

Not only the Iranians but also the Indians and many other countries are waiting to see the back of President Trump for their respective national interests. In the context of this thread, it is Netanyahu who doesn't want to Trump to be gone, unlike just about every other country in the world.
You will see a very different posture of America against Iran if Trump dies from a heart attack today and Vance becomes the POTUS. And that sadly points toward how far the 'checks and balances' have eroded in the American system; this is nothing but a dictatorship when it comes to foreign policy, driven by a guy's personal biases which align with Netanyahu's larger and longer goals in the region.

That would be an interesting discussion to have in a more approrpiate thread than this one.

In context here, we need to get through the next three years first, and see how Trump and Iran fare during this critical time period.

This is an appropriate thread for me to have posited above that if JD Vance becomes the POTUS today then you will see a different posture on Iran.
The personal biases of the Presidents like Biden and Trump are the root causes of what was allowed to happen in Gaza and what's been done in the Middle East, especially against Iran. Those two guys are through and through Israel-firsters in their heart and unfortunately due to 'careerism' and 'loyalty' they were/are not being challenged.
To repeat: We would not be seeing this situation, nor we would have seen the destruction in Gaza, where potentially millions could die had it not been the personal biases of guys like Biden and Trump!

That is a statement that is impossible for me to comment upon, since it is only hypothetical at this point, and I have no idea whether his posture would be any different than the current one.

That is like me saying that things would be more peaceful with Iran if Mike Johnson becomes the President. How does one say anything to that?
