If I were Iran and knowing Iranian Culture (we dont accept big mouth from foreign enemies) I would increase missile bases, range and quantity massively and explain that death of Khamenei or war against Iran means death of the fatwa against nukes. If I were Iran, I would agree with these points. Iran's nuclear program consumed vast amounts of national resources and led to decades of sanctions from the US and the West, but ultimately Iran failed to develop nuclear weapons. In other words, Iran paid a huge price but gained nothing.
I also agree to abandon the Shiite Crescent. Hamas has been completely defeated, Hezbollah leaders have been assassinated, and the Assad government has been overthrown. Iran's only Shiite allies now are the Houthis and Iraqi Shiite militias.Regardless of whether Iran substantially abandons the Shiite Crescent, the Shiite forces in the Middle East have already been significantly weakened. They are currently unlikely to pose an effective threat to Israel.
