Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Yeah. and perhaps If I am thinking too negatively China may have a hidden interest in this war to happen. As whenever US engages itself in these wars, China keep progressing quietly. US will use tons of money and weapons in this war. While China will be producing and adding to its arsenal. Secondly, China would be observing very keenly the capabilities employed.

Also, if the war prolongs and if Iran is able to mount a defense then maybe China could find a way to assist Iran via Russia / Caspian Sea. That is only possible if war prolongs. In anyway, China will like a regional country involved in war against US and become a battlefield, instead going to a war with US directly. They won't mind Tehran getting bombed as long as the war is bleeding resources from their arch rival the US.
I dont think so. China wants only to avoid of being surrounded and besieged by US. If they do like what you think, they would do more in venezuela.

If Fake King doesn’t have a heir then the successor claim to throne goes to the heirs of Alireza Phalavi (the other son of Reza shah) of which there are 4 sons currently alive and one also has an heir.
can you share more information about the four sons of Alireza Pahlavi you allege exist

Imagine Saddam was overthrown.

Then imagine US took his general that got absolutely obliterated in Persian Gulf War 1 and Persian Gulf 2 and said “you are in charge now, follow our orders”.

And then that said General said no I don’t want to be called General, call me King like the Babylonian Kings.

And then you had this fake King’s family with no ties to any Babylonian ancestor rule for half a century.

That’s basically the Phalavi family in a nutshell. Except in case of Iran we had a democratic PM led government that was overthrown. Their royale reign literally lasted for 53 years. A joke in scheme of our histories time.

Now some people want to switch a theological dictatorship for some LA socialite dictatorship, rather than a true democratic government. I swear Iranians are retarded when it comes to politics. Absolutely retarded.
Interesting you live in the US but do not support the Pahlavis. We know that Kurds generally do not like the Pahlavis. At least someone in America is sane.

There are only three viable replacements for the Islamic Republic when it falls:
1. A reformist/oligarchy group inside Iran led by people like Hassan Rohani, or Mojtaba Khamenei.
2. Reza Pahlavi
3. MEK

Anybody who thinks you can magically come up with some democratic replacement for the IR is stupid and beyond delusional. There is no other option other than those 3 realistically. MEK is hated by literally everybody in Iran and in diaspora. So, it is either Reza Pahlavi or the reformists/oligarchs in the Islamic Republic. There is no other real alternative.

It is absolutely clear to anybody with eyes that the Iranians are tired of the reformists and oligarchs inside Iran. In fact, January protests must have made that sufficiently clear. The popularity of reformists and oligarchs in Iran is even lower than the IRGC at the moment.

So, if the US decides to go for regime change and accepts all the risks and troubles that will come with it, do you think they will hand over the new system to people like Shamkhani's son or Hassan Rouhani when they can start over and create a new Iran under Zionist control? That's hilarious.
Trump already threw Pahlavi under the bus, and he said he has no desire to live in Iran

Iranians didn't get rid of the monarchy only to have them return through American bombs 50 years later. likely 40 million+ Iranians would strongly oppose that. so that's not a viable option either.

Dropsite writeup on current events.

like Venezueala, if lesser amounts of ground troop involvement is planned

then, there could be a plan of using, new and secret weapons for the first time!

Trump is not George Bush. His entire presidency has been nothing but division and discord among Americans with him mocking and calling people who disagree with him names on national TV or on X. He can't care less about what Americans think.
he backed down from ICE raids

Is that why the regime had to shut down the internet for 3 weeks, and kill 3K people and injure 25K people (per their own official statistics) in just 2 days to suppress the pro-Pahlavi protests?
I believe the latest protests were engineered from outside using extreme financial means on top of Iran's already bad financial situation which is mostly from the decades old sanctions.
Majority of Iranians are waiting for the US to bomb Iran. You just need to talk to Iranians on Instagram, YouTube, reddit, X, or even your co-workers. They are even calling for the US to take action against the regime in Iran and you think Iranians want the IRGC to continue their plundering of our wealth for the Arabs in Palestine and Lebanon?
Bolded part: If Iranians living in Iran think like that then Iran has no future as a nation. But I am usually wary of the online noises--knowing well from Pakistan's own current situation.

There is no balkanization of Iran at this point. If anything, I would be afraid of the Balkanization of Iran by a regime that has always prioritized Islam and Arabs over national interests of Iran.

Netanyahu really, really needs a fragmented Iran.

The bad news is Israel with more limited refueling capacity was able to sustain strikes throughout each day, on a more limited scale compared to US.
IAF pilots reportedly asked the political leadership to accept the ceasefire in the final days as operational fatigue was setting in

majority of their air force flying sorties 24/7 over that distance will take its toll

The challenges for Anti Ship ballistic missiles go beyond maneuverability - and are more dependent upon having surveillance and targeting in place . Without persistent, real-time ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) networks they are flying blind. Iran's coastal radars are all prone to jamming and satellites are an unknown.
Iran is flying long range drones over the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea on most days to track the US CSG

they just need to send the missile to the area and the EO seeker can do the rest

though you are right, this is a major challenge, and why the US shot down the Iranian drone last week when it got too close to the CSG

Is that why the regime had to shut down the internet for 3 weeks, and kill 3K people and injure 25K people (per their own official statistics) in just 2 days to suppress the pro-Pahlavi protests? lol Like it or not, Pahlavi is by far the most popular choice. He has millions of supporters inside and outside Iran.

People hate the IRGC right now. If you think after January protests, people will support the IRGC, you are wrong. You can't mean that.

There is no balkanization of Iran at this point. If anything, I would be afraid of the Balkanization of Iran by a regime that has always prioritized Islam and Arabs over national interests of Iran.
They shut down the internet to track Starlink users and dismantle the Mossad networks. Protests broke out due to currency collapses, not because Iranians wanted the US and Israel to bomb Iran and install a dictator!

IRGC is not a single monolith entity. There are many branches consisting of quds revolutionaries, technocrats, reformists etc. If you claim most Iranians hate IRGC, you either don’t understand how power is concentrated in Iran, or you’re being dishonest.

The delusional monarchist LGBTQ diaspora are the ones who are calling for bombing of Iran. The vast majority of Iranians want sanctions relief and a strong Iranian military to protect them from Israeli and American bombs.

Don’t be a useful idiot. Balkanization is what they have planned for us if IRI falls. Do you seriously believe they are going to install a 65 year old foreigner who can’t even control his wife to manage one of the most complicated countries on earth? A country with one of the largest hydrocarbon reserves, controls some of the most important energy corridors on earth, and has a 90M population who most are extremists?

This situation sucks for Iran in the sense window to preemptive attack successfully has kind of gone with all the defenses in the region and early warning radars.

Hamas saw writing on the wall that Israel will attempt takeover of Gaza in Trump's second term so it pre-empted it and caused significant damage on Israel.

Iranian government doesn't want to be seen as irresponsible and can't take risks like Hamas so it didn't preemptively strike. This means Iranian 1st and 2nd wave of retaliations will not be that effective so we will have to be patient if US attacks, people on this forum will be screaming for retaliation or be defeated for a week or so. Iran will then later get back on its footing.
ideally the missiles are locked and loaded from multiple locations and firing systems and can be fired as soon as an attack is clear, rather than having to wait 17 hours and let Israel knock out as many systems as it can in that time first like in June

800 of those were killed by the Mossad armed terrorists

and the protests started well before Pahlavi said anything, so he can't take credit for that

we never saw evidence of 'millions' of supporters inside Iran

People hate the IRGC right now. If you think after January protests, people will support the IRGC, you are wrong.
I guess you missed the recent pro government 22 Bahman rallies

not your fault, social media is engineered to amplify these narratives

After 12 days war, Ideally Iran should have tried and transported some short range missiles to a secret underground facility in Iraq for future conflicts (Provided if they have strong allies over there). If they had planned and had such a base then it could have caused real blow against that Jordanian airbase now. It would have been an element of surprise. Plus Iran could just put the blame on local militias, if it don't want to looked like doing those strikes.

But I think they don't have any such short range missiles base in Iraq otherwise now is a golden opportunity to use it. Since Qasem solemani they are unable to plan things aggressively. Trump killed Solemani because he was a good strategist of IRGC.
several Iraqi militias have underground drone bases. and one showed a SRBM. one new video released yesterday. these drones have range to reach the US air base in Jordan.
