Key Iraq war architect at White House as Iran war rages
View attachment 183687
Hi,
At the end of the day---Iran will suffer for not having a potent air force.
A potent 4.5 gen aircraft could have pretty much neutered everything the israelis or americans could throw at them other than the 5th gen aircraft---.
Iran---even though it had a lots of time at their hands---acted in a lackadaisical manner when it came to equip the air force---.
I beleive that the Drone / missile Mafia in iranian military became dominant---the air force command became weak---treated like a step child from a second wife---while the drone / missile mafia ruled the roost.
I would say that was a very bad policy by the Iranian military for which they would pay heavy penalties---.

Most probably the case. However you usually don’t have hangers big enough to park big cargo planes. Usually there are 1 or 2 big maintenance hangers that is not hardenedThese are aircraft that were not airworthy. Otherwise they would not be sitting out in the open like that.
Daraa - Jasim City:
An Iranian drone exploded in Jasim city in northwestern Daraa countryside after being intercepted by Israeli aviation

Kharg island can't be secured easily. Even if they do somehow took it, Iran can still fire at them daily from the mainland with not just drones, but MLRS too, so casualties would be great forcing them to retreat.
No clue. I'm not familiar with that place. Reports of using ground troops shouldn't be taken seriously right now. It does seem like they're testing American public's response to such reports, however. How will they prevent the troops from being struck while on the Island? Sounds insane to me. Wouldn't that cause the Iranians to target oil and gas production in the guf? Desalination, electricity infrastructure? Slippery slope to boots on the ground.
