They basically evacuated Iraq already. Take the very large and important Ain al-Asad Airbase as an example. At the moment, the Americans are focusing on Erbil and KRG. Probably in anticipation of this war.

How would you define 'the West'? Do you consider Turkey to be part of the collective West? If that's the case, then the Ukrainians got Turkish support right from the beginning. Today, Kiev remains free from Russian control thanks to the Turkish drones and missiles that were sent in during the early days of the war and just before it began. The Russians had to retreat from land in northern Ukraine, partly because of significant Turkish involvement while the Europeans were still discussing what to do. Yet, the Russians would pick Ankara over Tehran in a heartbeat because they are completely untrustworthy.

I said it before the war, that the west would try to create a Kurdistan using the Kurds in Iraq and it will then be a 4D chess move against Turkey (which is their next target).

So if Turkey sits ideally by while they carve out an Iraqi+Irani Kurdistan. It’s only a matter of time before they say “hey we should take part of Turkey too”. Then if Turkey retaliates the Israeli’s will paint Erdogan as killing peaceful posters and stopping Kurds from having rights.

Turkey should be very careful here and not assume because it’s a part of NATO and has US nuclear weapons on its soil that it’s safe. As Israel and U.S. have shown, they don’t fight with honor. They fight with trickery.

There is little meaningful support - like weapons or ammunitions - when there are 1,000 sorties per day. Anything bigger than a mouse will get detected and neutralized.

The hope of some that China or Russia will somehow start flying in weapons is silly. If they ever decided to go all in like Vietnam I picture a scene like the movie Casino where two made men were scamming the Casino Sam (De Niro) Rothstein is running and Nicky (Joe Pesci) goes to confront them giving them a onetime warning out of respect since they were made men. I picture Orangeman sending Rubio to give China and Russia a onetime warning out of respect since they are military powers that the next flight to Iran carrying weapons will be shot down or sunk if by ship. So what happens if the next missile out of Iran heading towards Turkey is "missed" by SM-3 and hits inside Turkey? Will they retaliate on their own or invoke article 5?

I hope what Iranis say about elongation of the war through less launches everyday is actually true. I am actually concerned about Enemies destroying Missile bases and missile fuel facilities.
