Actual casualties in Israel might be in 300-400 I suspect from number of waves. During 12 day war gag order was issued mid of the conflict, some european journalist present on ground was saying post war the same that actual death toll was 200+ but Israel has a policy of maintaining perception of "invincibility" which they want to keep at all costs.
