Yes that's what I have said. That would be across all the services. The Air Force does not have that many.
I am not talking about Iran blowing up their own Island........I was talking about the US bombing it instead of invading it. Taking out the oil storage and processing depot,t and the island would be useless during wartime, eme as you can't really fix that when the US is flying airstrikes above, bove and you can't load up a tanker without the processing plant and the storage, as you don't just go "direct to. pump"Iran won't blow up the island but will try to retake it. Through a negotiated settlement or brute force. Launching missiles at the island is unlikely- it is the beating heart of Iran. They cannot risk damage to the infrastructure on that island. May be it's a bluff to get Iran to give in?
Sir i think you should be more considerate of just how much a screw up this is. The fact that damage was caused over atleast 5 confirmed aircraft shows that they must be parked rather close together and considering the size of iranian warheads debris from them could easily have severely damaged 2-3. Considering that most us tankers in theatre are 60 year old aging kc-135s many of these are not worth saving even if repairs are possible. Regardless of damage the fact iranians hit us support aircraft hundreds of miles away in a base that mustve been considered safe to house them is damning enoughReading is a critical skill. The article says "damaged or destroyed". Not destroyed. There are a couple other articles including one on Fox News reporting the 5 that were just hit were damaged and are being repaired.
LOL....no.Targeting those bases where there are these KC-130 refuelers is smart. Without these those bombing missions are going to be hard and might give the IRGC some breathing space to regroup, re assign targets and come back harder.
Iran is playing 4D chess. This, along with the strikes on day one that targeted those radar sites and blinded the Americans, are proof how smartly Iran are choosing their targets.
Iran, the world may not say it openly, but we stand with you against the Epstein clan who wish to impose their imperialism. God bless Iran! May this holy month of Ramadan, end American-Israeli hegemony once and for all and pave the way for a multi-polar world.

Lets see, we are in dark times. will get darker.. Oil importing countries will hurt badly one way or other. This will likely be the reality for Iran very soon if they don't pull off their own version of the samson option.
5000 marines, even with the 82nd backing, won't do any of that; you need a few divisions of troops to try to invade the Iranian coastline.Interesting. Since you are among the few on the site that is actually a military or police veteran, what do you think this MEU is being brought in for ? I think they are brought in to bust open the Strait , ie seize some islands or coastline on the Iranian side of the Strait.
Two high level meeting have taken place in 4 days in Israel, both were headed by some senior minister....bibi were absent ....If Bibi doesn’t show himself by Sunday, then something happened in Israel. I don’t think Bibi is dead, but there might have been a security incident involving high ranking Israeli official(s) and that has caused precaution for him to stay hunkered down and quiet.
Or else that man never shuts up during a war.
Have you been around air operations? Those aircraft are parked no closer to each other than they would be Stateside.Sir i think you should be more considerate of just how much a screw up this is. Even with 10% casualty (that's the low end of this limit), you are talking about 500 marines wounded or killed over this, the public is not going to go for this, and then you are going to need to defend it from Iran and a hostile population (If any).Yeah I don’t think the Iranians are going to allow American do what Russia did crimea we will have trump right after it was American land just like Greenland goodnight but liked your previous post
Going by the latest:I would say the impacts are non-existent in the grand scheme of things. When the US drops a bomb they drop a bomb. And they have much more on the way. I was looking at skyline of lebanon the other day and there were thick clouds of smoke everywhere. Iran has not been able to do this to Israel. Nor to any neighboring country thus far and the US managed to do that (to lebanon) within a few hours. And, we all know they can do much more damage if they want to.
I feel as though this is basically like Afghanistan vs Pakistan
