It's real and not fake, an F-15 was shot down BY IRAN 100% confirmed and the US is currently desperate taking unconsidered risks to retrieve them

Truly shocking to see these planes fly so freely like this in Iran. Very embarrassing for Iran too..

I agree, 'nukes' are used quite casually and not only in the context of this war.
However, in the context of this war, the stakes are so high for both sides that even credible analysts are saying it would not be out of question for Israel to America's 'dirty job' one more time and use its nukes.
I hope it won't come to that!

Honestly if they are staging such a big operation for 2 pilots, it makes ground game less likely. After all, in a ground game you are going to lose soldiers. You are going to have some captured. And you will have the bodies of some photographed. You have to be prepared to accept that.

Doesn’t look like the U.S. is at the point of wanting to accept that. And this incident might give Trump more pause about the feasibility of ground game.

It just proves that their pain threshold is low due to low popularity of this war in the US, but it also shows that Iran is vulnerable when it comes to defensive capabilities.

With somebody like Trump, it could go both ways. He totally has the personality of a gambler. He may go for double or nothing if he thinks he has a good chance of winning a ground invasion.

Trump hates PoWs. He mocks them. He has in the past. He thinks someone getting captured is a loser. He thinks soldier getting injured is a loser.

He is likely very angry at this incident because it makes him look bad in front of his idols: Putin, Xi, and Kim. For him this whole war is a flex towards Putin.

I'm headed to get some shut eye now but might write something more detailed when I wake up but in short, I don't think the IRGC should have the strategy to prevent landings or incursions, rather to punish when they do occur
