Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Cosmetic victory, moral boosting, good PR. Even If Iran captures him, will have to return it immediately, just like we did. Trump will be giving ultimatums on hourly basis and eventually when HVT gets released, he will brag that they "Iranians got scared by me and blah blah"
His capture also could provided an opportunity to negotiate and stop the war. Trumpy is high on cocain or his cult worship so some reality checks may have helped create conditions for an off ramp and eventually agreement to stop war on mutual terms.

Bro it’s unfitting of a mod to be complaining this much.

The Air Force was destroyed the first week when the shock and awe campaign kicked off.

And I literally told you that would happen, but you wanted to sit and believe that F-5’s, and F4’s and handful of Soviet airframes could do the impossible and survive. I told you guys the AD systems wouldn’t hold up against the U.S. + Israel onslaught and I told you without interceptors those ADs would be picked off one by one.

There was a video of a Yak-130 getting sniped from the sky by another U.S. fighter jet (likely an F-22 or F-35). Two SU-22’s tried to do a low flying pop up raid on PGCC and got hit and killed.

Now you are wondering why we didn’t grab some chinooks and MI helicopters magically from whatever airbase isn’t dust and dirt and fly them into an vector that likely has F-22’s or F-35’s patrolling for this search and rescue mission and send our own pilots to their certain death.

Just doesn’t make sense. It’s all emotional thinking.
the largest helicopter fleet in the region was destroyed in a week? what happened to the Eagle 44 base? only IRGC SSM bases can protect their assets?

I am not asking the air force to conduct daring raids into enemy territory...

can you tell me what the air force has been doing the last 2 weeks? didn't they used to show Karrar drone with an AAM? they can't use even this now to target helicopters in an area they knew for 30+ hours would be a big focus?

it's legitimate to criticise and ask questions.

My main concern is losing our islands in the Persian Gulf, and never taking them back.
I dont think those islands are defendable without high losses, constant supply and protection. They turn into a liability eventually.

Because precision stand off munitions didn’t exist in 1991…..
it did, guided munitions were responsible for the destruction of 75% of strategic targets in Iraq. Although it represented only 10% of the overall spread in tonnage.

13 aircraft were shot down over Iraq, AAA 7 with SAM 7 with quick reaction IR missiles 7 and 1 was shot down by a Mig-25.
Saddam had a fully functional integrated layered air defense system a mix of Russian, French and European origin.

no official news.

1 hour until sunrise in Iran.

if something happened, we can expect Trump to be the first to brag about it, as usual.

What makes you think any islands lost won't be taken back at the peace table? Iran can strike any force on those islands at will. It is a waste of lives to even try to defend them under current circumstances.

Looks like a failed missile launch

I see people have started dooming again because Iran didn't send 1 million soldiers into the desert without any air cover to find 1 guy. For some reason they think Trump wasn't going to invade if they couldn't find this one pilot?
The U.S can't "Invade" Iran even if Trump were to give the order. People here who should know better are in Panic mode.
