Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

it is in interest of the rest of the world to have immediate ceasefire and open the straits
The world should arrange alternative trade routes even if temporary ceasefire is achieved.Forget SoH.

It's a trap! it's a trap!
Agreed.

Iran needs to keep focused and not get distracted by outside proposals, even if they're coming from a friendly neighbor, Pakistan.

The smartest move right now is to keep the pressure on. They should make this conflict so long, messy, and expensive that the U.S. and Israel look at the bill and casualties and decide they're definitely not coming back for another round.

It's a tough situation to be in their shoes with the amount of damages and casualties sustained, but this war has to be worth it to bring lasting peace to itself in the region.

Two facts must be confirmed:
In a few years, pipelines bypassing the Hormuz will be built in every GCC, rendering the blockade of the Hormuz an unusable card.
In a few years, US production of interceptor and cruise missiles will increase several times over, making it impossible for Iran to resist.
Therefore, a ceasefire now would certainly lead to Iran's demise within the next two to three years.
If Iran lacks the plan and courage to develop nuclear weapons after a ceasefire, then continuing the war is the only logical conclusion.
Not next two or three years. It will take a lot more than that to build canals or underground pipelines. Maybe 5 years, at least.

That aside, it won't take that long for the US to overthrow the Iranian regime.

A non-nuclear Iran will be forced to pay reparations to Arab states in the Persian Gulf. Sanctions on Iran will be tightened. The country will go through more regular strikes by Israel until our civilian infrastructure collapses and Iranians overthrow the regime at any cost.

Again, there is no scenario that a non-nuclear Iran with the Islamic Republic can survive.

I don't understand what Iran is waiting for? Attack energy infrastructure in Israel please. We're all waiting.

And yet Iran is doing non-effective attacks on Israeli petrochemical industry.

This is why I said that a non-nuclear state cannot fight with a nuclear state.
Based on what Israel has done to Iran so far, Iran must've attacked Israeli desalination plants and refineries long time ago. I'm not talking about symbol attacks, but real annihilation of them.

... If iran can hold out only they know, and if they can for a prolonged period their hand will be further strengthened. ...
After eight-years of war with Iraq, Iran did become a regional power.

While the GCC prospered economically for decades, Iranians suffered for decades.

After this war, Iran will not only need to replenish it's military, but also rebuild it's air force, navy as well as all the civilian infrastructure that has been destroyed so far.

So, no war is always better than going to war.

Iran became a regional power after the Iraq-Iran war because we didn't accept an early ceasefire. We fought it to the end and the world accepted that they had to coexist with us.

A lot of countries in the world, particularly Arabs of the Persian Gulf, the United States and the Soviet Union and the Europeans wanted the Iranian 1979 revolution to fail. The Iraq-Iran war forced them to accept the revolution in Iran.

At this moment in history, I don't believe any piece of news coming out of the region.

There seems to be a regional and global bipolar disorder epidemic.
