Israeli strategy appears to be very simple.

Cause so damage to Iran so that after the US and Iran have ceasefire, the Israelis can continue hitting Iran as and when they like without any US support.

They're trying to impose the Syria/Iraq model on Iran where Iran is finished as a nation state.

With every single passing day, every single infrastructure that is destroyed, Iran becomes weaker.

Some people want to see Iran fight to death now, rather than face a slow death. I don't believe this thinking is correct.

Once the Americans remove their "armada" from the region (which they will have to), they won't be picking another fight with Iran in the future.

Infrastructure doesn't define a nation. By that measure UK would've been finished after WW2 firebombings of London.

If Iran cannot reciprocate today's attack on our petrochemical industry by Israel by the end of today, things will start to look very bad for Iran.

Yes. At the request of Saudi Arabia, China replaced 35 DF-3A missiles with 35 DF-21s at a price of 60 billion US dollars. This gives Saudi Arabia the power to attack Israel and Türkiye.

Iran is only 1300 kilometers away from Saudi Arabia. It is obvious that Saudi Arabia's target for spending $60 billion to upgrade the range of its ICBM is not Iran.

Well, another reason is that Saudi Arabia's $60 billion offer was indeed too tempting. And at that time, relations between Turkey and China.

Turkey and Israel are not very farther than Iran either. Northeast of Iran is pretty far from Saudi territory. Father than many places in Turkey or even Israel.

Just like how Iran's initial response to the US aggression proved all the calculations of the US administration wrong and forced them to recalculate everything.
