U.S. trying to off load its war crimes to its demented ally

A land invasion of Kharg Island is coming tonight. I also suspect another operation at a site near Esfahan. Iranians should be ready.

Iran was not "deceived". They have been ignoring the background noise and still stand completely ready, to their credit.

A ground invasion gives Iran a toe to toe fighting chance. Aerial decimation is a bigger concern, as Hegseth suggested, but come what may, Iran must and will prevail. One hopes logistics are secure enough to supply the components needed for a long war of attrition.

My speculation here is that Iran has prepared for a ground invasion owing to its geography instead of venturing out in the open and get picked much easily. Which also explains a deeper and resilient defensive setup.

Though they'll have to go on the offensive in the region to disable/dissuade any perch available to mount an attack against Iran.
