Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

You should also ask how on earth the lunatic moron orange man got elected as president twice and how the hell such thug could get ahead and doing so well in the so called most advanced democratic country ? What does that say about the society of America ?
Trump, Netanyahu, and Zelensky have proven that the so-called democracy in the West does not exist, and the so-called Western electoral system is a failure.

The Western electoral system requires candidates to obtain the majority of votes, representing the democratic will of the vast majority. Theoretically, this is reasonable. But many behind-the-scenes manipulations exist.

First, candidates need to gain enough attention, striving for the support of various ethnic groups, skin colors, religions, and genders. Candidates usually use media campaigns to present themselves as representatives of public opinion, trying to make themselves known to as many people as possible. This process requires substantial funds, and capitalists provide support to candidates. Then the question arises: after winning the election, will candidates consider the interests of the general people or the interests of the capitalists?

We can see that after these candidates win, they work for their own and the capitalists' interests and usually do not fulfill their campaign promises. When voters find that rulers break their promises or enact laws that harm their interests, they start gatherings and protests, which are merely an emotional outlet and have no substantial effect. Candidates from other parties start campaigns and criticize the government, and voters begin to turn to other parties. In the next election, other parties gain power, shift all the responsibility and mistakes to the previous government, and a new cycle begins.

A term in office is only 4-5 years, and before the term ends, laws can be signed to exempt oneself from any legal responsibility. Honestly, if I were the president of the United States, I would also use similar methods to earn enormous profits. These risk-free enormous profits are very tempting; only Biden and other presidents did it secretly, while Trump did it openly.

These countries lack strong supervisory mechanisms. Even more shocking, these countries surprisingly do not require candidates to have political experience or a resume. Can a comedian manage a country well?

Such inexperienced and capricious rulers will drag a country into a quagmire or hell.

These countries have already lost the opportunity for reform; vested interests have no intention of making any changes. Capitalists can transfer assets to other countries and continue to enjoy a wealthy life, while the majority who stay behind suffer.

In any country, workers and peasants constitute the majority, while capitalists and vested interests are a tiny minority. If a regime only considers the interests of that tiny minority, then this regime essentially has no democracy.

No - Afghan accounts normally are.

Pahlavi accounts on social media, particularly Twitter, including mainstream accounts are very angry at the ceasefire and Pakistan.
They can only create an illusion of winning by fabricating false news, in order to gain psychological comfort.

But it cannot change any reality. War news reports may deceive, but the front line does not lie.

I really like their psychological state; people like this certainly do not get depression.

They are elected by the general population out of a few canidates, but they are accountable to noboday.

Both the UAE and Qatar have called on Iran to pay reparations.
And our foolish leaders thought the US would agree to pay Iran reparations.

@Immortals @Persian Gulf
Iran's realistic demands should be a comprehensive ceasefire and the lifting of sanctions. The United States cannot pay compensation.

Nobody is paying anybody anything. Lifting sanctions off Iran will be reward in itself and Iran can repair the damage with Oil profits in addition to lifting the country out of whatever issues she has been facing with the sanctions.

It would also be great if we can finish the Pipeline, once the sanctions are lifted, and get Oil + Gas from Iran. The actual Iran-Pakistan-India plan would also be great for all 3 countries, if Indian leadership ever stops thinking politics for a minute.
Don't you think it's better to put the end of the pipeline in China............

We have a good reputation and ample funds. Do you want to receive Indian rupees?

That is one of the reasons Gwadar port is built in the first place to receive oil from Iran and then connect to Kashgar, China.

Lol ..... They are always in the comment sections dishing out death threats 😂

There might be some truth to it. The building is blurred out.

Day 2 of 14 day ceasefire:

- Largely holding between US and Iran
- Mostly holding between Israel and Iran (though Israel continues to fly drones over Iranian airspace which Iran is downing)
- UAE and Iran’s tit for tat seems to be over
- the Strait of Hormuz remains functionally closed (see below)
- Israel continues to commit genocide in Lebanon and the U.S. decided that Lebanon is not part of the agreement, threatening the ceasefire as Iran insists it must include Lebanon. Iran’s response is calibrated to minimise the risk of provoking the U.S., and limited to keeping the Strait closed
- with the latest U.S. statements insisting on no enrichment in Iran, the ceasefire seems to have a low chance of success. But IRI are committed to it despite some anger from the public, and talks continue in Pakistan
