That is why mentioned "in our airspace and on our ground". Beyond that we do not have jurisdiction.

Nobody is wishing for Iran to remain victim and docile servant, they deserve their sovereignty to be respected like any other, and at the same time they too need to respect others sovereignty as well. To think that "Margh bar Amreeka" and export of revolution to other countries had nothing to do with all this buildup is pure conscious neglect of facts. It is one of the consequences of actions from the past that could have been avoided very easily by removing confusions, and having a transparent agenda for existing territory. But if you wish and try to regain influence in past empire territories, then you also need to be prepared for consequences.

The US political system as a "system" is very dysfunctional with no checks or balances in place and no oversight either. To me, It borders on not being a true democracy.

US congressmen easy to manage by Israel. There is a great divide between US urban and rural. Urban easily manipulates the rural/military establishment in the name of patriotism.

I have not been to Islamabad since 1979, but it does strike me as the cleanest, most well organised city in the whole of South Asia. I have seen alot of westerner videos of people who travel there, looks good and clean (important to my OCD .. ).

( Its on my bucket list to go ... ).

China should be in the talk. but seems ................ this will be a very tough talk, and want to stay away. JD may bring some reasonable demands but Israeli reps Kushner and Witkoff may cross the line.

An MQ4C Triton flying all the way from Italy apparently all the way to Bahrain / Persian Gulf on about a 3,800 - 4,000 KMs path. I wonder what's the need to fly a surveillance Drone all the way from Italy, especially given that all of them were flying from Cyprus/israel during the war. Probably using Italy since it is not a party to the war ?

Perhaps because its a very valuable asset and there are capacity constraints on secure regional bases. The GCC hasn't done a great job of protecting US assets.
