Let’s hope they learn their lessons for the umpteenth time and keep their heads low and use minimal communications like phones use different trusted couriers to move messages….in case these “negotiations” go south quick

Regime change in Iran that excludes Regime ideology change is meaningless. and this might be a strong proof that US and israel already lost this war- they spent and lost so much to change Iran and its govt's ideology, and they failed competely. Irans islamic revolution (Velayat-e-Faqih) is still in place and the imposed war helped MORE iranians find and believe in it again.

As far as i can deduce the wso was in a difficult to reach mountainous area that was hard to get to by larger helos so they placed 2 mh-6 little bird helicopters in each and put in delta force and pararescue to put up a perimeter and retrieve him far from the suitable landing site for c-130s and then bring him back. The mh-6s wouldnt have enough fuel to get out so they were likely burnt per plan but numerous statements make it clear that c-130s were supposed to depart but were unable to and thats why alternative aircraft had to be called in. As for such large SOF presence i think it was presumed a large force would be required to prevent wso and landing site but i dont believe it was in the hundreds as trump would love to claim. Any claims that they were actually supposed to take the uranium at isfahan is completely based on speculation, besides we know that a large part of that material was evacuated from isfahan prior to the strikes so just going there for show doesn’t make sense either
