Interesting...You are right: No one can trust Trump.
But I think the mere 2-week ceasefire vs the originally desired 6-week (by America/Israel) is driven by Iran to prevent too much regrouping to attack Iran again; Iranians seem to think they have the momentum on their side at this point. This ceasefire is real as far as what the Americans need. And it would be too lazy to think that whatever Netanyahu wants is the same as what the Americans need. They are two different countries, after all.
I hope you agree that if no breakthrough occurs in these negotiations ,
I am more skeptical of these negotiations than optimistic about them. I do think iran has the most to lose, because letting a superpower with vast capabilities the time to regroup and activate its "network of allies"(EU and NATO) is dangerous for any country, especially after initial war momentum is paused or lost.
