WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner will travel to Pakistan soon for talks with Iran’s foreign minister, a U.S. official told Reuters on Friday.

Vice President JD Vance is not currently planning to attend but he will be on standby to travel to Islamabad if negotiations progress, according to CNN, which first recorded the travel plans.

Rather pointless if it is just these two individuals....

China and Pakistan called for a ceasefire, they requested the same from the Usa. What is wrong with that, they only want the war to stop and its a positive thing. Pakistan also requested the Usa to extend the ceasefire, not sure why anyone would take this as a negative move.

I for one don't think it's a negative move at all. Will take all the positive I can get in this situation.
