My friend, I have a different perspective. This is what you and many others get wrong: This is not America and its democracy. This is the outsized role of the POTUS especially after the Fall of the Soviet Union. The vaunted Checks and Balances have been rapidly eroding since then. A 'Third Grade Burglary' made Nixon lose his Presidency in the 70s and a Blow Job President Clinton survived in the 90s. This country is on a downward slope and so is much of the world due to general decline in morality, ethics and intellectualism.
As I keep repeating: The war on Iran is a personal war and could not have happened unless two people in power at the same time: Netanyahu and Trump. A Yair Lapid as the PM of Israel wouldnt have launched this war and certainly not PM Rabin who was killed by the Jewish extremists.
Let us take this war as a point of reference, and then look at the issue of American wars from a broader perspective.
After the end of World War II, almost every U.S. president has launched or been deeply involved in foreign wars and military interventions.
Since the end of World War II, the United States has spent over 70% of the time in some form of war or military conflict.
My view is that Trump and Netanyahu should be held responsible for Epstein's war of aggression against Iran. The United States is accustomed to using violence to solve problems.
On a deeper level, the main reason for this war is that the United States needs to use military hegemony to maintain dollar hegemony, political hegemony, and cultural hegemony. This is the American tradition of war.
