Many mainstream and non mainstream media reported the Saudis and the other oil kingdoms wanted this war as much as Israel. They want Orangeman to finish the job so I'm not buying it. Orangeman halted the operation freedom thingy because Pakistan asked Orangeman to halt because Pakistan was working on a deal.

If war breaks out Saudi and other oil kingdoms win because oil price will go up drastically. If Iran attacks oil kingdom oil depots and rigs they still win because oil will be even more expensive.

BREAKING: Trump's "Project Freedom" collapsed after Saudi Arabia and Kuwait suspended US military access to their bases, airspace, and overflight rights, per NBC News and Ryan Grim.

The Kingdom blocked the US from flying aircraft out of Prince Sultan Airbase or through Saudi airspace, completely grounding the operation and removing the air defense umbrella protecting ships in transit.

It is a myth that GCC countries wanted this war. I believe people like Trita Parsi say the same thing. I mean just look at how far the GCC suffered already. They must not have been any under illusions that Americans would prioritize their safety over Israel's safety before this war began. And now we have a potentially a situation where the decades long peace and prosperity of multiple GCC countries is destroyed for long. Why the hell they would want a war? They knew the Iranian missiles and drone capabilities well. Everyone knew that. I mean, everyone!

I believe the stupid Israeli attack on Qatar shifted the sands from beneath some Arab countries and they started to see Israel as a greater threat than Iran was perceived to be hitherto.

Like I said, even a Vahidi led IRGC isn’t crazy enough to seriously attack US warships. Although attacking the LCS would avenge the crew of the Dena.

Technically Iran and the USA are in a state of ceasefire, so it cannot be attacked. Iran had plenty of opportunity to hit/sink a ship during the hostilities and could not achieve a direct hit.
