More than war machine. US is supposedly selling oil and gas, hurting China (somewhat) and other actors in Asia to weaken them. Gulf Arab states are also suffering economically and US is leveraging that to push for ties with Israel, among other things.

Iran has leverage so it shouldn't agree to dilute enriched uranium, even on its soil. Iran can wait this out. I wonder what next US steps would be.

Iran is global power now.. there's no question about that, the question is when American will decide to withdraw from Middle East. That is the question
