Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I would go for Israeli infrastructure in tit for tat moves. Their petrochemical plants, refineries, water desalination plants, power plants.
But how can you reliably hit them/get direct impacts when their multi-layered air defence systems haven’t neared depletion at this point?

Intercepted missiles over Israeli critical infrastructure will not be helping Iran at this point.

I’m not asking for a wishlist, I’m asking about the very specific approach needed to ensure maximum success.

Not really. :) The USAF will establish air superiority over our airspace and neighboring countries in less than 24 hours, completely neutralizing our CAS and logistics.
From where? If Iran takes over the nearest airfields in Iraq/ Kuwait and heavily damages the remaining ones in Bahrain/ UAE/ Gutter..... with sustained attacks? Takes out all the utilities and water/ power?

Then what?

Drones, cruise missiles and BMs. They are nearing depletion in my opinion. They were pretty close to that before the ceasefire and I doubt the situation has fundamentally changed since then. The only question is if Iran has enough drones, cruise missiles and BMs left or not. If Iran has more than 5K MRBMs and 10K drones left, we're good to go.

We don't know how many of our missiles have been intercepted. Nobody does.

That's the only approach that Iran can take. As I said, Iran's only advantage, one and only advantage, is our sheer size. Other than that, we are far behind Israel in every other aspect. We need to employ our size and strategic depth to win this war.

It would be a huge mistake for Iran to target Gulf energy infrastructure right now. As things stand, the focus is squarely on Israeli aggression, but striking regional neighbors like KSA would completely isolate Tehran. An attack on KSA would also force Pakistan to instantly drop its role as a neutral mediator and give full support to Riyadh. If Iran wants to hurt Netanyahu's government without triggering a major regional blowback, targeting Israel's own energy infrastructure is the only logical move.

An air base is not like some football field that you can destroy with a couple of successful hits. Iran can throw everything it has on the US military air fields in nearby countries and still that won't completely destroy them, maybe render them inoperable for a few days/weeks at best. Also, the US has +11 aircraft carriers for a reason.

Look at Iran's Mehrabad airport, for example. It has been hit quite severely multiple times in the last two wars between Israel, Iran and the US. It was operational before today's skirmishes, after all the bombings it had endured.

The Islamic Republic is too kind with the Iraqis.
I can apply the same line of logic to Kuwait, Bahrain or Qatar. What do you want them to do when the US uses their territory to attack us? By that logic, we should have never attacked them either.

Israel had 2 forward bases in Iraq to operate against Iran. Two that we already know about because they were exposed, there's probably more. Iraq has been doing nothing to stop Israeli activities against Iran, not even diplomatically.
Yet, Iran exempted Iraq from the Strait of Hormuz tolls. The only country that was fully exempted. Why? Why are we rewarding Iraq for being the launch platform of nearly all Israeli strikes on Iran?
Technically we need to bomb Lebanon too, but we can’t go on and bomb everyone.

Of course they don't. But this member like some other members here seem to live in a video game mentality.
Probably I know more than you guys ... but you guys try to over complicated things , with nucleare deterance , they probably won't even dare to wage conventional war against us in first place ...

I think TP4 was rather focused on neighboring countries than Israel itself, which was a wise move at the time, but this time Iran needs to focus on Israel more than anybody else.

If Iran doesn't teach Israel a lesson, Israel will go against Iran solo next times, effectively denying Iran the excuse to respond to the US or Arab states near us. The US will continue to enforce a blockade on Iran, while Arabs will be just innocent bystanders unlike the last time.
Iran has not been able/or tried to hit critical Israeli infrastructure as of now. It will be a first if they manage to do that, and a dramatic escalation to the war. They have not done this to Israel yet, and Israel and the US has been able to target key Iranian infrastructure before.

It will be very difficult to do so. The strategists in Iran should have planned on how to maximize their missile impacts in Israel.

Iran should not be concerned about escalation at this point. Escalation actually does not disadvantage Iran in my opinion. But they really need to think/be concerned about how they plan on re-establishing deterrence by successfully hitting key Israeli infrastructure.

That is what I was interested in hearing from you and other Iranian posters, more than a surface level assessment/wishlist and a more detailed analysis.

Hezbollah is, not the Lebanese zio government
Yes, but at least Hezbollah is fighting on our behalf on the ground. The same is not true about PMU forces in Iraq. :) They were one of the most passive and ineffective forces throughout the war.

Not to mention that parasites like Muqtada Sadr who leeched off Iran for years have openly called for disarming resistance groups in Iraq.

Besides that, Lebanon did not host forward bases of Israel. Iraq did. Also, Lebanon is not gaining billions of dollars from the Iran war while getting toll exemption for passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
