Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The removal of sanctions on financial services is the most significant benefit to Iran out of all the things that Iran has achieved. People will realize the significance of this in time as Iran begins the process of economic rebuilding and investment into Iran. People should not underestimate the value of this waiver and final sanction removal.

Right.
But, as opposed to the larger world analysts, some here always see the glass half full--or maybe they don't even see any glass at all! Sigh!

Maybe all parties got hold of a plan by Israel to sabotage it and decided to establish facts on the ground before Israel can do anything?

Possible!! Iranians were waiting to actually ink the accord before they would expect the Americans to enforce Lebanon ceasefire on Israel otherwise Iran itself, using the agreement as cover, would take matters in its own hands.
It will be very interesting following what the Israeli press is going to say about Lebanon now that the agreement is signed.

Now might a good time for Iran to get the American and European companies excited of what items Iran wants to buy, to cement a lobbying block in the west to hold this deal, come what may.
We tried that in the JCPOA. We placed huge orders for both Airbus and Boeing airplanes. It didn't work.

Now that the MoU is signed. I do expect strongly there will atleast be another Round with Iran and Israel. Israel will never accept this deal. However i think US is done now.

give sources please.

the hannibal directive was made to prevent soldiers to be taken. Soldiers, not civilians.

What do you think of the pic and films taken by Hamas itself about these 1200 ?
The "1200" were soldiers and citizens of an occupation army and legitimate targets. As usual with Zionists , you ignore the violence and oppression Israel inflicts on nonJews. This is not the thread topic.

Then please stop going around telling people to not discuss this, or that because it is "conjecture".

Sigh. Please quote my post where I stop anyone from discussing anything they wish. Thanks.

=========================

Whatever is said, can of course be described as premature or not, depending upon whether any basis for what is said has happened or before facts are actually known.

Even now, the MoU has the names of the two countries in different order. They have been transcribed by different people listening to someone else reading from a paper.

Plenty of the Israeli way of 'Randi Rona' (Breast Beating). Enjoy!!

Israel awoke to a frightening new reality on Thursday as it absorbed, with disbelief and largely in silence, the terms of President Trump’s agreement to end the war with Iran.

It is a disastrous deal from Israel’s point of view, analysts said, because it accomplishes none of Israel’s war aims and arguably leaves the country in worse shape on each of them.

“It’s a bad agreement in which the Americans are paying with cash, and got, at the maximum, a letter of intent,” Yaakov Amidror, a hawkish former national security adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, said in an interview.

David Horovitz, the editor of The Times of Israel, called it “a catastrophic capitulation,” in the headline of a lengthy opinion column.

And Nir Dvori, an analyst for Israel’s Channel 12 News, likened the deal to a “diplomatic Oct. 7” — a cataclysmic disaster for which Israel was wholly unprepared.

Regime change? The government in Tehran is emerging from the war even more hard-line and emboldened, despite being decapitated at the outset of the conflict in late February. Some analysts said Iran had effectively chased the U.S. military out of the region, given the deal’s requirement that American forces retreat from the “proximity” of Iran within 30 days.

Ballistic missiles and proxy militias? The agreement does nothing to address Iran’s missile arsenal or its support of Israel’s enemies, like Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen.

Worse, by constraining Israeli military action in Lebanon — indeed, by requiring that Israel withdraw its forces from that country — it seeks to handcuff Israel in a way that it was not before the war began.

The hundreds of billions of dollars that Iran could receive in sanctions relief, unfrozen assets, or reconstruction aid could wind up funding more missiles in Iran and aiding Tehran’s militia allies around the Middle East.

And Iran’s nuclear program? The existential threat to Israel that Mr. Netanyahu tried to eliminate throughout his career, and which was Mr. Trump’s primary reason for joining the wars on Iran, was left for a later stage of U.S.-Iran negotiations.

Mr. Netanyahu and top officials in his government offered no public comment on the agreement overnight, leaving minor ministers and backbench lawmakers to put the best possible face on it.

Amichai Chikli, the diaspora affairs minister, speculated in a radio interview that Mr. Netanyahu would know how to say no to Mr. Trump about pulling out of Lebanon just as he knew how “to bring the United States into this war.”

But others more soberly grappled with the degree to which Mr. Netanyahu’s triumphalist rhetoric from early in the war had proved fantastical. He had repeatedly and confidently assured Israelis that the country and its alliance with the United States were “changing the face of the Middle East” to Israel’s advantage.

“We are remaking the region,” Chuck Freilich, a former Israeli deputy national security adviser, said on Thursday.

“Iran came out stronger, and I believe is now the regional hegemon,” he added. “They stood up to the U.S., the global superpower. They can have missiles, and there’s nothing in the agreement about the nuclear issue except we’ll talk about it. This is an Iranian victory over the U.S. and Israel.”

Trump's Patience with Israel is running out, Trump would absolutely hate israel if they start attacking again due to the narrative of him being a peacemaker

For Trump Narrative is way more important then israel.

Because of Zionist lobby. Yes that's a tough one as China can produce good alternatives to almost anything Western but not passenger aircraft (yet). Still if you have the money , sooner or later a way will be found to get new Airbus / Boeing planes to Iran and the removal of sanctions will help.

Notice this bravado. Not only this cabinet member of Netanyahu regime accepting the Israeli role in dragging America to this war but also perhaps there is a veiled threat against Trump should he go stray from Israel. Saw a retired Israeli security official referring to the Epstein Files to be released to target not only Trump but others in the govt.

Those blackmailed by the Epstein Files should hold their lines and call them Deep Fake! And many people would believe the Deep Fake assertion.

The third page of the memorandum of understanding posted by Iran's president on social media

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has posted a picture on social media of the signed memorandum of understanding, saying it is "a message from a powerful Iran".

Peace will be "realised in the shadow of mutual respect", he says.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been committed and steadfast to global peace while preserving its dignity and independence", Pezeshkian adds.

Some saying here this MOU doesn't amount to anything substantial. My question to them is: Then why even bothering to negotiate for months, send your VP to a faraway Pakistan, and then sign in such a way that the Israelis and their Lobbies would start targeting you? Why not, as Jefferey Sachs had been saying, just pack up and leave? If pack up and leave didn't happen to protect Israel, then how does the deal protect Israel now that it is written in the agreement that Israel needs to scale back in Lebanon. And what would another frontal war on a replenished Iran achieve after some months which the recent war could not achieve?

An agreement was needed. Americans could have simply left the region by withdrawing the naval vessels but they could not because the impact of the Iranian actions on the Strait of Hormuz was being felt in large parts of the world and would have start to feel badly in America, too, over a time frame.

So the agreement is real and it will be bear more benefits for Iran then given credit for.
